Does it require too much team work? I played the beta and that is what put me off the game, don't get me wrong I don't mind helping and working together but the beta made me feel like you need to work 100% with your team.

The SP is meh, and not worthy but the MP is amazing.
Just like in MAG. If you don't want to help your team then this game isn't for you.
That's because of people being used to games like COD where team work doesn't exist at all. It's just a matter of people learning to play as a team and not a MP as it's a SP.Last edited by sergeriver; 05-10-2012 at 12:58.
PLAYING: DRIVER SAN FRANCISCO, TEAM ICO HD COLLECTION, BF3 BETA.
GETTING: UNCHARTED 3, BATTLEFIELD 3, TWISTED METAL, LAST GUARDIAN (RELASE DATE?)

1 extremely skilled player could win the CTF games, but good team can stop him!
also there is allot ppl with mics in games that commands or support ppl. i was in team that lost few games, but then we began to cooperate with each other and made 4 wins. this is the beauty of this game

I am wanting to build a team of players who are interested in team play. Anyone who is interested can add me. I'm grabbing my copy tomorrow, will learn the ropes in SP then i'm gonna go balls deep into MP.

In that case sounds a like a plan. I can live with the single player being pants cos Warhawk was as good just being multi-player only as most games with both elements. Usually on a game that is bigger for its multi-player side I tend to try and flash through the single player bit anyway.
Very interested in the team work elements to this one. One thing that annoyed me on PSN was the lack of teamwork and chat etc.

I would totally love to have pre-set formations/constructions where everyone in the team knows what they have to build depending on what the current objective is. If one team is just randomly building shit and the other team is creating co-ordinated structures, it would be very rewarding for me.
@Firesol and Rad, we will party up once I'm through single player

MP is fun the community is a little barren right now but the game just came out. But the games are fun and it is awesome to get back into the big battles. The building is fun and helps players like me who, love MP games but aren't always on the top of the leader board.
Feel free to add me: PSN ID = gumi42
I do have bluetooth but don't always chat (sometimes it is too late) but I am always ready for teamwork.Hard work never killed nobody but I ain't taking any chances

Just got it myself too, single player isnt bad, mostly play death match. This game needs time to grow on me unlike the mp in Killzone 3.

I've played the first 4 or so SP missions and its a good game, I do enjoy it and I see myself spending a lot of time on the MP, but I just have to get used to it, how you play, the controls, what everything does. I just need to give it more time.
The story itself is servicable... but I kind of wish they just left it MP and kept the themes simpler, not all this rift energy crap and the mutant people.. but I suppose it gives the battles context.
Either way, i can't and won't judge it after an hour and a half of playing it, but i will definitely sink more time into it. I hope I get addicted

LOVE this game. I love the art style and the arcade feel to it. I'm just going through the SP at the moment, about an hour in but I love this game. The hawks are still a bit awkward for me to fly but the rest of the controls are perfect for me and the hawks will get better in time. I love the build and battle system, it adds a whole new dimension to the game and is technically one of the most innovative marriages of 2 genres I have ever seen.

You can change the flying style if you are struggling. I barely fly, I'm not really into it, and every time I fly I die almost instantly

I am really getting into it, I am enjoying CTF, my tactic is to get as much energy as I can and make a spawn point very close to them so we can get to their base a lot quicker and easier.
