sounds good to meThere's little doubt at this point that Sony intends on continuing the Killzone franchise in a major way. Here's what we already know: Sony-owned developer Guerilla Games, the studio that created the Killzone franchise, is spearheading three Killzone titles with the help of fellow first-party studio Sony Cambridge.
Guerilla confirmed at GDC that Killzone titles are in the works for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. Perhaps the third game is for the yet-unannounced PlayStation 4? It's all conjecture at this point.
But according to Siliconera, Sony may be ready to show the next Killzone game very soon. "Sony Computer Entertainment is recording a teaser for a future Killzone game," Siliconera reports with information from an unnamed source. "The upcoming title takes place after the events of Killzone 3."
Siliconera has text purportedly from the voiceover from the trailer. The voiceover, according to Siliconera's source, was written for a female "who has ties to the Helghan Autarch."
The site notes their source can't (or won't) pinpoint whether the trailer is specifically for the PS Vita iteration of Killzone. However, referring to the game as taking place after the events of Killzone 3 points us in the direction of a possible Killzone 4 for PS3, per Guerilla Games admitting that it's working on an unannounced Killzone title on PlayStation 3.vita or ps3

Kind of not interested in a 4th, though i'd love a spinoff or something. Wasnt a real fan of the end, though I'd love to know who was in that pod thing.

Three Killzone titles. That seems a bit excessive, don't you think?

My guess would be a PS4 launch title.

3 games is a bit much IMO. Is the series really that big/popular? Or does Sony just believe it to be one of its flagship series?
This is the kind of news I'd expect about FF titles.
Either way, can't complain. I had fun with the Killzone games, even though I'm not too big on first-person shooters.__________

I'd buy a PS4 if Killzone 4 was a launch title for it.
It's funny that in this day in age people can steal as long as they have a reason too. Even if that reason is created by the thieves themselves.

Well whatever KZ3 sold I guess was enough to justify another installment. I think they may crank of a PS3 title.
(my hope)

The teaser's dialogue has been leaked:
Now who might be giving this speech?"My sons and my daughters, today we take the first step toward our imperial future.
For years, this once-great nation has stagnated in the shadow of its enemies. Governed by scoundrels who flaunted the ideals established by my father, these traitors… these enemies of our race have diluted and exploited the triad of Duty, Obedience, and Loyalty.
This regime, this corrupt regime, has been dissolved. In its place does rise an era of stability and strength. A time of opportunity born from a promise that we shall return our people to their proper sphere of dominance."

If I had to guess who's making the speech, It's most likely Visari's Daughter (The one one who pulles her hand away shortly before he goes live on the cameras in the opening scene from KZ3). That's what I think anyway! LOL. BTW, I love the KZ series. I know, I know, It's another shooter, but I just really loved the storyline and the gameplay was awesome IMO. The only part I thought sucked was the kinda hinky on rails vehicle part there, (The shredder thingy). But the mechs ruled, and I really wanted to see who was in the pod at the end of KZ3.

Yes!. This is what I've suggested numerous times before. It will be interesting to see the war through their eyes.
I believe that this Killzone will be the Vita version. Not sure if it's wise to reveal two Killzone games in the same conference. If it's Killzone 4, save it for the next generation console and E3 2013.
