SourceA Sleeping Dogs trailer featuring quite a bit of punching and kicking has popped up on YouTube. It also shows a few of the upgradable combat skills. Watch it below. Game’s out in the US August 14, in Australia and New Zealand August 16, and in the UK on August 17. Thanks, AGB.
I'm really looking forward to playing this game.

not convinced about this game it has a cool artbox and the chinatown trailer looks lively but its still a "True Crime" game underneath and that seemed noticeable i nthe gameplay trailer i saw earlier this month. Hopefully it can be a surprise hit this summer but im not expecting it

I think it could turn out to be surprise hit. And as an open world title, it wouldn't have to worry about competition from Grand Theft Auto V since that game looks like it'll come out next year.

I'll give them credit for the title. Oddly, I enjoy it. Perhaps subconsciously because of Reservoir Dogs. Definitely looks to fill the appetite of kicking ass, street gang style.

Looks fluid, really awesome. I've been keeping an eye on this one for a while, and it looks to me like a worthy purchase. I'm always down for open-world games such as this.

if it's anything like the combat mechanics in Batman Arkam Asylum/City then this will be sick

Looks good, but this game isn't really impressing me yet. We need some good kung fu, kick butt games though. Batman is the only one that comes to mind lately with epic dynamic martial arts.
[EDIT] I think I just need to look into the game more, since it's an open world game I'm sure there's plenty there I haven't seen yet. The combat does look good though.Last edited by bigCman123; 05-12-2012 at 07:17.

Never actually paid attention to this game much save for a few comments from the current UFC Welterweight chmap, GSP.
Combat lokos amazing. Definite buy save for some unholy f* up.
