Try months off 40 with 3 kids and being a single parent.
Dont need to throw a list up. Lists prove nothing and nine times out of 10 people dont even own the games they brag about.

There is the odd excpetion like Rage. But by in large they come down to things like framerate consitancy, and yes it usually pretty minor.

69 out of 139 of my games are all Xbox 360 exclusive. Which is 49%. 100% of my PS3 games are exclusive, though I don't know how many I have off the top of my head. I think about 15?

This year for Xbox 360 console exclusives, I have bought Witcher 2 (already out for months), Minecraft(already out for months), Kinect Star Wars(pretty average reviews), Fez(arcade, but good), Bloodforge(arcade with shit reviews), Fable Hero (arcade, shit reviews), Trials Evolution (arcade but quality), and Alan Wake American Nightmare (pretty decent reviews). I am getting Steel Battalion, Fable the Journey, Forza Horizon, Halo 4, Dead Light, Sine Mora, Ryse and Crimson Dragon. Multiplatform titles that I am still getting for Xbox for 2012 yet would be Prototype 2, COD Black Ops 2, Ghost Recon Future Soldier, AC3, Borderlands 2, Hitman Absolution, Medal of Honor, NCAA 13, Spec Ops the Line, Far Cry 3, Sniper Ghost Warrior 2, XCOM, MGS Rising (if it makes it this year). This doesn't even include the multiplatform titles that I have already bought this year.

I have yet to buy a game for my PS3 this year, and honestly, if Dust 514 and Last of Us don't get a solid release date for 2012, I have nothing lined up to buy for my PS3 this year. That is a stark change from me buying Resistance 3, SOCOM 4, KZ3 and UC3 and GT5 in last year and a half or so. Not even sure I turned my PS3 on yet this year? Oh actually, yeah...I did the Starhawk beta. Ewe. The PS3 has completely let me down for 2012. It's almost like 2006 all over again..FOR ME.

I guess it comes down to personal preference, because clearly there is NOT a lack of games on the 360, nor is there a lack of core exclusives (or exclusives in general) in 2012. In fact, this is the year I will probably spend the most EVER in gaming in my life. IME and IMHO.

Im not biased against it, but because of the price gouging in NZ by Sony, things that make sense to you, just dont make sense here.

Here, Sony still offer the most expensive console, for no particular reason than they want more of your money.
Here, the difference between the 360 and the PS3 at launch, was about 8 years worth of Xbox Live subs.
Even now, I can say that the extra you pay for the PS3 would keep you online for your xbox for nearly 3 years.

Does it make sense for you to switch because MS burned you on 2 months of live, probably it does.
Here, its simply not worth the effort, or justificaiton on going out to buy an expensive as hell conosle.

The standard retail is about $299 for the 4gb model here these days, there are so many bundles (with forza/with without kinect).
The warehouse sometimes inflates exactly what you would be paying to make it same better, but you can pick it up for $299 or less everywhere. Thats equal to $226 US

Or roughly exactly the same with GST.

Yup. Just because I have game drought for a bit, that doesn't take away the amazing experiences I have had with it, and the amazing experiences that are yet to come. I have had gaming droughts on all my consoles. The Wii has been about a 5 year drought now...but I did get the last Super Mario!
