What are your favourite game review websites? I only ever read IGN and Eurogamer. Would like to know what others are good?
Thanks

Game review websites

none, cause they all are just 1 person opinion on a game. Plus do my own judgement don't need another person to make up my mind on buy a game. i'm old enough to make my own decision.

I watch the IGN and gamespot reviews on youtube. I get enough info about possible bugs and glitches there, and can judge if the reported shortcomings are shortcomings in my eyes. I usually just head over to metacritic where you can see all the reviews and read the summary caption from them. A single review only serves a purpose in the context of the other reviews in order to judge the general reception.

I don't like any. I look at gameplay videos and if I like how it plays, i buys.

Gameinformer is pretty good. You may even want to look up more info about their magazine.

Honestly, i usually go more for user feedback and gameplay vids than review websites. Metacritic is a good way to get the general consensus on the majority of review websites tough, so you can't go wrong with that one.

kill screen daily sometimes do reviews, but they usually just find interesting games to talk about.

I don't read Eurogamer for reviews I read it because of the comments, mostly they tend to be comedy gold.
Another great one where it even tends to have funny and great posts from a guy called Tuffcub and has a strong feeling of community is Thesixthaxis. those sites are the only ones where I get my news.

I usually just go to Metacritic, look at the aggregate score, and then look at the summaries. I just want to get a feel of what the consensus is, especially if it's a story-driven game. I don't want to get spoiled.

Eurogamer only for me. The tag lines for the story's and the user comments as another user said do give a few good laughs and the reviews are usually written well
8/10

(IGN + User Feedback + MetaCritic + Whether the game appeals to me)/4 = Worth buying, renting, waiting on, or ignoring forever.
I look at several websites, but the one I usually just casually browse is IGN. But one guy at IGN's opinion isn't going to change my own if others don't agree with him/her. I sometimes try to focus more on what is actually said about the game rather than the number people like to slap onto it.
User reviews on youtube can be really good too. Actually listening to someone talk about whether or not they enjoyed a game and why helps greatly when making a decision. This guy named Jeremy Jahns is fun to watch/listen to and he has been doing movie and game reviews. I like how he doesn't have a number scale, but has his own scale he came up with. I generally agree with his reviews.
[EDIT] Must have been really tired when I typed this fixed a few mistakes.Last edited by bigCman123; 05-16-2012 at 00:35.

User feedback is your best bet. I check out GameFAQs/GameSpot quite often. Sometimes I agree with their professional scores, but mostly I just check out the user reviews.
Some games have thousands of user ratings. If the game is averaged around 9.0/10, they all can't be wrong, right?__________
