Not likely. Wiiu is weak sauce, it's like having a fully fuctional Unreal Engine 3 on the Wii.

Right now UE3 is hardly passable on that machine.

Can't wait to see Unreal Engine 4 running on PS4 or the next Xbox, or PC. I'm sure it'll look amazing, I remember being blown away when they showed Unreal Engine 3 for the first time.

I still think we may be able to see it on Wii U. Also keep in mind that we dont see the best innovation on consoles until the very last years of the generation. Compare ps3 launch game graphics to the one now. I'm sure if we saw frostbite 2.0 and cryengine 3 in 2005 no one would have said they will make it to the ps3

Or valid. After all most developers have the kit already(Assuming that Epic has one as well), so they have a general idea of the power new hardware possess. According to Epic Games: The Unreal Engine 4 will require massive-multi core processors to work. If the Wii U can't meet that criteria then we can take a wild guess that it's not as powerful as they want it to be.

I'd say it's a bit of a stretch to assume this means it WON'T be on the Wii U. More likely they're targeting PS4/Xbox 3 since they'll look better and the Wii U will technically run the engine but not as well (ie: not maxed out). If there's anyway to get it to work on the Wii U, they're not going to turn down free money from developers.

That wild guess was on the mark then. But we will wait and see how this all plays out in the end.
