SourceLast month, Dragon Age executive producer Mark Darrah announced BioWare wanted fan feedback before approaching the franchise again. Today, an update on the game’s official website states the time for feedback is now, and a series of questions and discussions around Dragon Age has started on the forums.
“This a conversation between fans, the community team, and the developers,” said the firm’s Jessica Merizan. “Everyone at BioWare is incredibly excited about the future of the franchise but we’re interested in what you have to say. Every month, we will discuss a topic or question about Dragon Age and game development. You will have one week to post your thoughts, desires, and hopes before we close the thread for review. Moderators and developers will pop into the thread to chat every now and again, so keep an eye out.
“These questions and discussions are not only for future games, but other potential products like novels, animated features, pen and paper RPGs, and comics – all of which offer us opportunities to expand on parts of the world.
“However, it’s worth reminding that we’re not making promises, we’re talking about ideas. We won’t guarantee that things we discuss will materialize and we’re not showing anything until we’re ready.
“BioWare co-founder Ray Muzyka has mentioned that we’d like to open up more in future Dragon Age titles, so now we turn to you.”

Dragon Age 2 didnt even have a proper ending IIRC. Or was there some dlc? Would be nice to have some decent closure.

They need to marry the combat from 2 with the customisation and exploration of 1.

I think they should have the option to choose between combat of 1 and 2, as I heard PC gamers were pretty pissed about the button mash attack of 2, (where PC gamers are more likely used to the combat style of 1) I'd also like to see less loading screens, and non recyclable environments... The actual footprint of the maps in DA2 was ridiculously small to have a loading screen at every new section in Kirkwall... I'd like to see more open world feel in maps. Not gameplay.
I hated in DAII when going into a new cave, was just basically entering it from the side or the exit... -.-
Also less junk and more loot loot.
I loved in DA:O there was a few armour sets that were strong, depending on playstyle / character playset. Where as DAII, once you had the champion's armour, there wasn't any need for seeking any other armour to be honest.
I think they also need to keep the story pace from DAII, I find often going back to origins, it's a long story that can drag for a while.
Also better AI personalities that actually believe what they are doing is right... IE playing as a mage and strutting round Kirkwall, quite the apostate with Anders by your side, and templers don't even lift their head to you.
More backstory to the things very lightly touched in the games.
What happened to the Grey warden from DA:O? and the Child I concieved with Morrigan?
Primeval Thaig and red Lyrium
Tvinter Imperium
Where did Morrigan go?
Elven cities before they were destroyed by man.
Black City (Fade)
A very lengthy deep roads trip... Very dissapointed about the length of time you are in the deep roads in DA2.
Also, don't want to play as Hawke again, wouldn't mind seeing Isabella again.Last edited by Scrubs42; 05-17-2012 at 00:30.

Uh dont quote me on it but i believe there is a dlc for da
that tells you what happens to morrigan so yeah.
also i dont see the problem with the combat it was improved if you asked me and was pretty simple still.. i dont see why people keep talking crap about it. also i wouldnt mind playing as hawke again he was a pretty good character consdering what game he played in, only thing i ask for is a longer game and a deeper story.

I had no intentions of becoming a leader. It is as a warrior how I shall be remembered, but these are hardly numbers worth dying for.
