Looks good so far, I read Javier Bardem is the villian, interesting...
"When I was 12, I milked my eel into a pot of turtle stew. I flogged the one-eyed snake, I skinned my sausage. I made the bald man cry into the turtle stew, which I believe my sister ate. At least I hope she did."

I love that tease at the end, hinting at the classic James Bond theme.
Can't wait for this! =D

Hopefully it's more like Casino Royale and less like Quantum of Solace.

I actually really liked QoS. Showed a more emotional and vulnerable side of the usually suave Bond. The story was also quite amazing, tricking most of to think that the baddies are after oil, while all the time they were just after water. That was a great twist.
Yeah, I know Bond movies should be more action-less talking, but I liked the break from that usual cycle. In my books QoS was just as amazing as Casino Royale. Craig plays an amazing Bond, by all means. Kudos to him.

Casino Royale was quality, QOS was decent.

I liked CASINO ROYALE a lot. I never saw QUANTUM OF SOLACE though, but I can't imagine it being half as bad as everyone says it is.

Something I didn't like about QoS was that it seemed too advanced and unrealistic, for example with the major touchscreen computers at the MI5 headquarters at the beginning. There wasn't any of that in Casino Royale, and I just appreciated the simplistic and realistic approach to it all, rather than having typically "perfect for the moment" gadgets. But then I suppose that's a double-edged sword, as he conveniently had a defibrillator in Casino Royale.

Those computers were actually one of the best parts. You don't think a spy agency realistically has high-tech gadgets? If it weren't for the lack of Q, Bond would actually be using them in the field.
The biggest issue, IMO, was the really lame climax set pieces. The plane battle and then the building in the middle of the desert. Ughh... Craig deserves better.

I need to watch Casino Royale again, but from what I remember they barely show the agency in that first film so we're not likely to see much tech even if they got it.
Just because they restarted the bond films doesn't mean its starting back in the 1950's. It's all modern day stuff, so they would definitely have some tech. Just whether we're privy to it or not.

This trailer already looks better than CR and QoS combined.
Trophy-licious!

Yeah, pretty much.
Because we never saw anything in Royale, I assumed that was the route they were going to take.
Let's take Batman Begins for example, since that was basically the film that started off all the recent reboot and restatt stuff. In that, he had only a few gadgets but they were realistically explained, like the suit for instance was an army reject suit.
I suppose it seems I'm going off point here, but basically for me, QoS got a bit too much, and I'll agree that some of bits were silly, like the gaff in ther desert.
I guess I'm just old fashioned and like my realism, when a film is set in a theme when it should be in the real world.

Yeah and the guy who wants to steal water from third world countries...that's so scary!

-

I was being sarcastic. Yes, I got that.
It's not like bond had a transforming car which was the previous Bond's signature. Some capacitive screens is still realistic by me. Again, it's in the agency it's not like he has super-techy glasses with it. Just my opinion though.
This guy gets it. Lol, "Oil was already done, let's use water then."
