I own a HP Office Jet 4500 and the OS I'm running is Windows 7. I have tried everything I can think of, from reinstalling the software to turning things on and off to installing HP printer doctor. I have no clue why it won't print wirelessly. Every time I try to set up the wireless configuration, it states the printer is not present, yet I can print from it via USB.
Can anyone help? I hate having to move my laptop back and forth to connect to the printer for it to print. If it printed wirelessly, this would save me that trouble.
Rep awarded to anyone who tried.

Is it connected to the same wireless router as your notebook?

On the printer itself, is it able to connect to the wireless network?

Yes, it has a button you push to turn the wireless on. The button is on and I've tried turning it off and then on. Still nothing.

I want to add that it printed wirelessly back at home when we had wireless. The difference between and then and now is, 1 it's a different wireless network or something and 2, this wireless thingy requires a password.Awww! Little baby bunny! <3

What you need to do is to navigate to the wireless menu on the printer and enter the setup wizard. From there you'll need to chose your current wireless network and enter the password.
You'll need to redo the settings each time you move the printer into a place with a different wireless network. (Hopefully not too often)

This is a plan for probably all HP wireless printers lol. I have one as well, and the things that Tut instructed is as fact as it can be.
