Go behind the scenes with the making of LittleBigPlanet Vita, boxart revealed

Sony has posted a “making-of” video for LBP Vita. The featurette basically gives you a peek behind the curtain of the game complete with footage and the developers chatting about the costumes, levels and whatnot. The game is expected to go into beta soon, with invites coming “soon,” as well. Box art is below.

Whats cool about this Vita version, is the ability to download and upload new levels via 3G. Would have been a bummer if it required a WiFi connection.

Last I heard, Media Molecule weren't planning on making a sequel to LittleBigPlanet 2. I think they're working on a new IP. They maybe felt the sequel was the farthest they could take the franchise.

Why the Vita game could be the 'definitive' version
Media Molecule seems mighty pleased with what developer Tarsier Studios has done with its work on LittleBigPlanet PSVita.

In the making-of video below, some Media Molecule staff even go as far as saying that Tarsier has done a better job than they could have themselves - which we find hard to believe.

It is looking fun though, and there's plenty of new gameplay footage in the video too. Shame they couldn't come up with a better title for it.

I wonder what the EU box art will be as they are normally different.

I'm heaps excited though, it's cool to see that the community has so much influence over the game as well, as the bulk of MY time with LBP games is playing others' levels

I hope so, cause I already feel there are too many LBP games..don't think 2 was needed tbh. New IP is good.

Reports said that they wanted to move on to new projects, a new IP. Which is fair enough. I'm sure they will return to LBP someday
