Rules:
-No ripping[Offenders will receive infractions or bans. Beware!]
-Vertical Signatures and Collaborations are allowed
-Dimension Size limit is 500x200 or 200x500
-New signatures only[I will disregard old or recent sigs]
-Have fun!

I personally like this one.

I too want the next SOTW to be freestyle. I'll see if I can advertise the next one to get us more votes and possibly entries as well.

I vote for Freestyle as well. We did Double Renders a while back and it didn't pull in too many people. It was also something I suggested back then for a challenge.

Anyways, I'm still deciding on what character I want to use for my entry. P=

My suggestion: Text based; if not I back up historic people. Like Gutenberg. Benedict Arnold. Or are we talking graphic artists?

my idea for historic people was the gutenbergs and benedicts of the world. I'd say just to keep it simple. If they are dead, its fair game.

Text can be a hard thing if you don't know much about it. I think I may just post or at least put up a few links about typography. After having read a few graphic design books and a few other type books it helped me understand a lot more. I'll try and conjure up something to help ease the pain for some of you a bit.
