Update: Watch your 3G service on your vita it's not just verifying Dlc.

Ok so i received a coupon from at&t for a free copy of Table top tanks Awesome i thought i love the game it's a nice fun AR game with lots of challenges...

Now remember with motorstorm RC i was concerned about the game dialing home even on the 3g network but a nice person here mentioned it was most likely checking dlc but then i thought if that where true then it wouldn't be verifying it online because the dlc is on the vita no need to online verify it unless you try to use it in game i thought that would be the end of it dialing home.

Wrong here comes along table top tanks.

Start the game up no wifi on just 3g only for a test now table top tanks has no dlc installed whats so ever on my vita and here it goes dialing home to verify DLC now it doesn't do a quick verification it does a huge 5 min verification then takes you to the main screen where it again dials home in the background.

Wasting tons of the 3g data plan on the vita...

How much data.

1 game launch 5 megs

Wow!!!! 5 megs just to run a game not to even play it.

And that is just the beginning...

Lets say you have table top tanks and a friend of your's has table top tanks and you want to play against each other via two separate vitas and you have the DlC on both machines Guess what if it cannot communicate with the 3g or wireless to verify the content it disables the DLC in the game if you cancel the connection to ps network it disables the dlc.

Nice drm protection sony charge us for dlc we cant use unless we are willing to be connected to wireless or 3g service

UPDATE: I am not crazy!!!! Some one posted a video on youtube complaining of the same issues look in the favorite
of this video link he has motor storm rc and table top tanks both using data and table top tanks has no DLC.
