Square Enix studio IO Interactive A/S has just announced a new trailer titled ‘Attack of the Saints’ which is a new Hitman: Absolution trailer. The purpose of this trailer is to promote Agent 47’s appearance that we will be able to witness more of during this year’s E3. In this new trailer we can see a run-down motel room where Agent 47 is treating his wounds. Meanwhile, his former employer the ICA send a deadly specialized Wetworks team after him dubbed “The Saints”.

The ICA obviously wants him dead but it looks like they’ll have to work just a little harder to get it done. Under the direction of IO Interactive, the CGI specialists at Visual Works have come up with what is called a “stunning piece of digital art” which is this trailer and according to the folks behind the game itself, you can expect it to reflect what you will see in Hitman: Absolution when it launches globally on November 20.
They were nuns? Lol sick trailer.

"The Saints" huh? I guess making it two Irish Guys and an Italian or Puerto rican would have caused some legal issues.

I don't think they are. I think they are going to give the player a very clear choice, go stealth or go loud. And to be fair, Hitman 2 did the very same thing with it's huge arsenal of weapons and choices. I just think it's getting some unfair comparisons because this gen has turned into a action games playground thanks to CoD and it's clones.
I'm going to get this and play it and play it properly, the stealthy way with no assists etc. I want to see some more gameplay too.

I wasn't really referring to the gameplay (although that is also taking a turn for the worse, but that's another story), but more the stupid ass nuns in latex and this "Meanwhile, his former employer the ICA send a deadly specialized Wetworks team after him dubbed “The Saints”." That sounds like something right out of saints row.
Would also like to play it without assists and all that batvision bullshit, but when a game is that obviously built around it, it kind of makes me doubt if I want to play it.
Did you just copy paste half of my post? lolLast edited by clean515; 05-31-2012 at 10:37.

Looks good for a trailer and I'm pretty sure it's not from the actual gameplay.
You see, madness, as you know, is like gravity. All it takes is a little push!

Partly liked the trailer but hoped it was both unrelated to the true gameplay and deliberately OTT just to ham 47 up before the E3 footage. It's a strange video and has got people talking, wondering to expect at the show. I pray for stealthy, pseudo-realism.
I've seen a different dev interview somewhere confirming it's "unrelated to the core gameplay".

Promising report on how the Hitman feel of last-gen is back. Also, love the outfit

http://www.computerandvideogames.com...-free-e3-demo/
Good news: this is a Hitman game. A proper Hitman game. From Agent 47's opportune costume changes, to the large and complex levels he can freely stalk, to his deadly talent at murdering bad men in the most inventive way possible - everything you love about Hitman is back.
