NicoNico: playstation vita's latest scam app

Ok i went and downloaded NicoNico now for people that dont know what it is here is what it is.

NicoNico: is a streaming app that streams videos from niconico's website basically a youtube site that they will charge for yes you heard right charge for.

NicoNico is a beta app right now for the vita it's not a full version app right now at all once you sign up for a free nico nico account and go to watch a video you are greeted with a message

Because you are a free subscriber you might be disconnected from your video or your video's quality might be degraded please upgrade to a premium account

Premium accounts for the beta are 25 cents non reoccurring fee.

But then you read at the bottom of the site premium prices will be announced shortly.

So imagine paying any where from 5.99 a month to 9.99 a month for basically youtube with a upgrade.

Wow What a SCam and ripp off sony wow.

Worse about this service the reason nico nico operates out of japan is because japan has differrent copyrights then the u.s so they can avoid copyright violations in other countrys and hide behind a loop hole in copyrights

not thank you youtube is free and i am happy with it on my ps3 and mac and vita with vita downloader

Update it seem's the same guy who doesn't like the vita dialing home for dlc verification is also really angry at nico nico
as well.

Yeah, it's not a scam - based on what the dude says in his vid. They've labelled costs, at least for the beta so you can choose whether you're paying or not. After that, you can again choose whether you want to pay for premium membership or not.

Don't like the business model? Don't buy/pay for the product. Simples.

Labeling it a scam is completely disingenuous. Whilst I'm at it, what other apps are Sony supposedly involved in a 'scam' with? I'm asking this because your thread title suggests there's been previous scams.
