The massive gameplay difference is why they changed it from Metal Gear Solid: Rising, to Metal Gear Rising. Same universe, but completely different style of game

You still get tactics.. but this time you get deep tactics on harder difficulties with games by PlatinumGames. If you've played Bayonetta.. there are literally 20 ways to play the game.. perhaps more.

Have you played games by PlatinumGames before? Try out Vanquish (one of the best third person shooters,) and the demo that came out on Japan PSN for Anarchy Reings (you can switch language to english) which is an amazing Multiplayer brawler.

They are the best in the business for action games.

Nothing like MGS, but wasn't expecting it to be. Looks good. Hope there are a good number of sneaking sections where it's not just all about action. Cyborg or not, he is still a ninja, and stealth is a must. That slowed-down precision slicing is awesome, I wonder how you will be limited in using it though as it seems it would just be easy-mode if you can use it whenever you want.

edit: just watched the video with some of the stealth kills. happy with it.
