Metal Gear Solid & RE Portable listed - Rumor

Sony's E3 press conference kicks off at 2:00am on Tuesday morning, but a couple of retailer listings appear to have stolen some of the platform holder's thunder by revealing a pair of exciting new PS Vita games.


Play-Asia is carrying a listing for Metal Gear Solid on Vita and it doesn't look like the upcoming HD Collection. We're hoping it's a re-release of the original Metal Gear game with spruced up visuals. As pointed out by NeoGAF users, Hideo Kojima is in LA for E3 this week, and we'd be surprised if he doesn't make an appearance at Sony's conference to reveal a few surprises.


Elsewhere, Play.com has a fresh listing for Resident Evil Portable on Vita. Again, there's no information accompanying it other than a £24.99 price tag. We're speculating it could be a port of 3DS title Resident Evil: Revelations, or perhaps another HD Collection. Either way, portable Resi sounds good to us.


Earlier today a French retailer listing appeared to out Medal of Honor: Warfighter for Vita.

"Was" being the key word here. Sony have 25-30 games to show off this E3. Let's see if these become reality.

lol I'm not getting my hopes up for RE after the PSP one, I bet that was Revelations then they decided to just put it on 3DS. Not into RE anymore anyway.

I'm excited for MGS though, but I really want to see a GTA or Bethesda game for Vita at E3. Then I'll definitely get one.
