FarCry 1 was the shiznit. FarCry 2 sucks dick. I will buy FarCry 3 if they go back to the FarCry 1 roots, AND still have the full map maker.

I think I will get it, Far Cry 2 was disappointing because of the stupid tablets you had to take every so often and not to mention the fucking annoying re-spawning of the enemies. It was a huge map but boring. Farcry 3 does look good but I will hold off for user reviews this time

Same for me. Far Cry 2 was my first for the series, and needless to say I was unimpressed. I barely got into the game before I returned it to the rental store. But Far Cry 3 is looking substantially better, and if I've got the money when the time comes, I might give it a go.

I thought FC2 was dissapointing, im not even halfway through it, and I'm thinking about trading it in. It gets boring after a while. Also taking those pills gets annoying.

Hopefully FC3 is good.

for those who are saying "i hope FC3 is good" have you even seen the trailers? it actually does look REALLY good. and there will be MP map editor and splitscreen coop. it can't be like FC2 judging from what i've been seeing in the news.

Looks as if the game will be delayed to November 29th in UK and December 4th in US. Originally scheduled for a September release. Kind of bummed out because that is prime time for game over load. Don't know if I will get to it at release now.

After Far cry 2, right now its one big giant HELL NO.

Trailers mean nothing, Far Cry 2 looked good before release. It was far from it. So many parts of it really hurt the game as a whole.

I've never played a Far Cry game before but Far Cry 3 is looking awesome. If everything goes well and it turns out being great I'll be picking it up for sure. I'm loving that lush jungle island environment, also it's open world, and the story looks like it might be good. Too bad it just got delayed.

i enjoyed the game..although it started to get on my tits about half way through..glitches, etc...yet, it wasn't enough to put me off...some of the scenery can be breathtaking...

Yeah I am stoked about it, I liked far cry 2 except for the stupid malaria part and when the starting point for a mission was on one side of the map and the objective on the other side.
I can't wait to go searching through the jungle for safe houses and kills bad guys at check points.
Bummed though now we have to wait till December instead of Sept.

I agree totally but honestly FC3 has a pretty high predicted sale amount! Even if its going against MoH, Halo4, and CoD. And honestly the sales prediction on the new CoD has went way down, which I do not know why, where I live I think the stores only have like 2 or 3 copies of the game pre-ordered so far in each game store in the city! Which is rediculously low! I do not know why, but me personally after the first Black Ops I've been disappointed in the CoD games! But we will see how FC3 does againt all the other major games coming out around then!

I believe that game will do well as far as sales go but not near as well as it would have been in September imo. But if the product is better because of the delay no reason to gripe about it.

To elaborate, I didn't actually *dislike* FC2, but I thought it compared poorly to FC1.

TBH my main issue with FC2 was how regularly vehicles came and attacked you and how every road stop/guard post attacked you.

The map and what I have seen from FC3 annoys me a little, the map looks so linear, closed off and full of trees, like they forces you to do missions. I hope im wrong. Its areal turn off, also the MP looks more lame than any other shooter now a days. No vehicles and small ass maps, im so glad it at least has a map editor.

I've only seen a couple things here, such as his role of Chuy in Psych. I remember him being very good. I'm going to have to try to see some of his other stuff. Says he's done some significant stage work as well. He's building an impressive portfolio.
