I don't think there is any split screen MP in this game.
Anyway, there is far too much Burnout similarities in this game. Burnout is a great game but I want this to be different.
This smashing of billboards and gates, holding R2/L2 to start a race, easydrive, takedowns/shutdowns, driving through repair stations. It feels like I'm playing Burnout again.
I also don't like how you find cars instead of buying them, and how you can't even choose the colour of the car. I don't like how I'm currently Most Wanted #9 even though I've only won 3 races (non of them being against other Most Wanted drivers). The crashing annoys me, every time I bump into a car, I have to watch a slow motion cut-scene, It's annoying as hell.
The driving is good, the graphics are very nice, but overall I am disappointed with this game. It isn't a patch on the original Most Wanted unfortunatelyKING OF POP

I'd have to agree that it's a Burnout Paradise clone. I loved Burnout Paradise and I do like this, but i feel like I've done it all before. I've played for just over 6 hours since yesterday when I got it and I already feel like trading it in. I haven't even used the online pass code either.

I'm gonna list what i like and what i don't really like about this game
Pros:
1- it looks better than burnout paradise
2- there's cop chases
Cons:
- some cars handle like shit
- More crashes than actual racing
- Very short for a racer 20 hours +/-
- Nothing to look back to after you're done with the single player
- Customization is utter shit and should not be called a worthy upgrade
- 41 cars and no way to customize any of them, only forced customization!
- billboards and gates? what is this? i can assure everyone that this is not Burnout paradise!
- cop chases are aggressive and not very fun after a couple of chases!
That's about everything i didn't like. I finished the game and i could honestly say that this is the last game i'll ever buy from EA or criterion in the next 3-4 years.Case: HAF-X Motherboard: Asus CHV CPU: FX8320@4.4GHz GPU: Asus DCUII 7950 RAM:Mushkin redline @ 2133MHz HDD: Crucial M4 256

I made a review of this game. You can check it out in the PS3 Games Section.

I haven't played it much due to work etc but so far so good for me. The last NfS game i played was on my ps2 so this obviously beats those hands down.
I am concentrating on the career at the moment but if anyone want's to add me to do some races at some point or just to boost friend numbers for the autolog etc feel free, PSN : BodyCountUK

The image shows a blue Aventador, however the blue colour is not available in game. I am disappointed and request an explanation.

None of my current friends are cool enough to play this game with me. Anyone looking to pad their friends list for maximum Autolog competition?
Also, this game is fantastic. Loved ever step of the Burnout series, not so much the Need For Speed series. This hybrid plays a lot like Midnight Club II which makes me nostalgiaphoric. The "customization" is disappointing, but the gameplay easily compensates. DLC ought to be interesting. I think to get the most out of the game you really need a dedicated group of friends. Seeing their billboard-sized faces sneering at you as you race through the city adds a great layer of friendly challenge.

The multiplayer aspect of the game however is awful. Very confusing and same as single player just with multiple players. Same cars and same unlocks.

evading police chases
some of the car challenges/races requires you to evade a crazy squadron of police cars within a time limit. I'm not able to win any of those. any hints on how to evade? I try to go in the opposite directions, head onto the highways, go through the paint shop but no matter what, cop cars spawn out of nowhere.
some of the hard challenges are impossible to win..

Could they have added something which could replace the nitro on the tesla? Like a power boost or something.

fictitiously, yes. which is why a patch should change the name to...'overcharge' or something equally ridiculous.
the tesla is like a giant circuit. whereas fuel engines have theoretical limits (this allows the use of nitrous and such) an electric piece comes with a voltage or current limit and cannot be pushed passed its limit or things start to go horribly wrong. this is why all Tesla's come with a speed cap of 100 mph or so.
