My friend said "The Run" bombed because it didn't have the open cityscape. I don't know, I haven't played Need for Speed in forever. It was one of my favorite titles for PS1, though. Along with Tony Hawk, Tekken, Madden and Coolboarders.

I played the Black Edition on the PC forever! This and Underground were my favorite NFS games ever made.

06-07-2012 #15Need for Speed: Most Wanted features “all the best shit” from Burnout Paradise, Hot Pursuit, says Criterion
Need for Speed: Most Wanted will have the best of both Burnout Paradise and Hot Pursuit whilst keeping its own identity, Criterion’s Matt Webster has said.
It’s everything we know about open-world driving, just piling it together,” Webster told Videogamer at E3. “All the best shit about Burnout and everything we did in Hot Pursuit, we’re just smashing them together.
Webster added that Most Wanted has been inspired by every game its ever developed.
“[Most Wanted] is what we think an open-world game should be. Hot Pursuit was about beautiful cars and epic drives, and so it didn’t match what we wanted to do in that game. This time it totally does. Everything that we’ve ever done comes to pass here.”
He added: “It’s a Criterion game so everything that we’ve ever done comes to play. We always say that each game we do is a reflection of us at the time, but of course, you’re going to be influenced by what we’ve done in the past and all the stuff we had fun with.
“You remember the journey that we went on with Paradise. The game that we shipped was absolutely not the game that we ended up with. And with Hot Pursuit we learned a bunch of other things. This is the best of everything.”
Need for Speed: Most Wanted launches in the US on October 30 and November 2 in Europe for PS3, 360, Vita and PC.You see, madness, as you know, is like gravity. All it takes is a little push!

Proof of Vita version.

I think I'll get it for Vita, if it's anything like Burnout Paradise, it'll be perfect on the Vita.

Looks great. Looking forward to it.
I wonder how will racing with other people work when there are cops involved.
Will the cops go mostly after the person in the first place? After the most reckless one?
Will you get arrested if you get taken down?
I have some great ideas for game modes:
Last racer racing: Randomly generated checkpoints depending on which way you are driving. Cops are very powerful, and able to take you down and arrest you almost instantly. You race until only one person is left. Once you get arrested, you can either spectate or quit.
Team Escape: All racers are part of a team. The more people reach the final checkpoint, the more points everyone gets. Race standings at the end don't matter. The cops get tougher over time, and after each racer finishes.
The quick and the busted: Elimination racing where as soon as you get taken down, you lose. Cops only go after the first player.
Grand Cop Takedown: Free roaming racing with limited time, and the racer that takes down the most cops wins. Cops go after everyone.
Spike Strip Poker: Multiple checkpoints with spike strips positioned randomly at each one and hard to avoid. Racers that hit the least number of spikes get the most points at the end.
Car Hunt: Everyone plays as a cop and tries to take down rogue racers. The faster all racers have been taken down, the more points everyone gets.Almost everyone will say: buy console that has games that you want, and those who say otherwise are ignorant.

Playstation Move for the win!

Looks ok. Why is Criterion making NFS instead of Burnout. I would much prefer a new Burnout.

You know, the more I see of this game, the more meh I am. Why does it look so dated and out of scale? I really wish these game companies would use real world units when designing these games.
By the way; nice job gangsta_795.
