This thread's purpose is to see how many members will play PSU Pig Skin Pick Em this year and if we'll even have a competition this year. Last year, only 3 members played. I'm hoping with this year's prizes and the amount of active NFL fans on PSU, we can get more participates.

What is Pig Skin Pick Em?
Pig Skin Pick Em is a game in which players "pick" or predict the winners of NFL regular season games. If you predict the correct winner of a matchup, you get 1 point. You get a point for each game you pick correctly. Here is an example:
Bengals vs Ravens. Bob picks Ravens and Sam picks Bengals. The game plays out that Sunday and Baltimore wins. Bob gets 1 point and Sam gets nothing for that matchup.

September 5th, 2012

What is the deadline to sign up for PSU Pig Skin Pick Em?
September 1st (Really it's September 5th, but I don't recommend cutting it that close. At one point, sign up becomes unable)

How do you win?
The player with the most points at the end of the NFL regular season will win both of the prizes.

How do I sign up?
To sign up or communicate your intentions to play, just post in this thread stating that you want to play this Fall.

So as you guys know, NFL training camps open this month. I definitely recommend the members playing this game keep up with injuries from training camp, especially year ending injuries. One player may or may not impact a whole team.

Then you've got both rookies and vets in contract situations and it pays to keep up with who and who is not playing in 2012. You never know, players like Forte and Rice could hold out until the 8th week of the season.

I will post some sites to check and keep up with everything on Sunday.
