General Vita questions

Hey guys I am about to get the Vita but had some questions, I am hoping you guys can answer and help me out.

Quick Vita questions......(other vita question thread is closed)
1. is it true only 20mb download limit, is that at one time or a total data limit?
2. Can online games be played via 3G (still on fence about wifi/3G)?
3. How is Disagea (what kind of RPG is it like)?
4. Can you put movies on it like the PSP? (store bought and personal files)
5. Can you put comic books on it like the PSP got late in its life.
6. What comes in the actual Vita box? (cords, Vita, anything else)

Yup no prob and yes I do I love my vita.

Yes there is a 20mb download limit per file via 3g and a very limited amount of games can be played via 3G online only one off top my head is everybodys golf, and sadfully no comics it stopped recently on psp too

Yes, there is a 20mb download limit.

Some games allow multiplayer via 3G. These are turn based games such as Hot Shots Golf and Chess.

No comment

4. Can you put movies on it like the PSP? (store bought and personal files)
Yes, you can convert movies and transfer them to your Vita from your PC.

5. Can you put comic books on it like the PSP got late in its life.
Right now, there is no comics for the Vita.

6. What comes in the actual Vita box? (cords, Vita, anything else)
PS Vita, USB cable and charger. AR cards.

I see Chille answered most of these already. It literally took me this long to get past the Internal Server error.

FIFA (If that's your thing) plays nicely over 3G. Haven't tried any others.

Yes fifa online can run off just the vitas 3G

I have Disgaea. It's a strategy RPG, think of FF Tactics or Tactics Ogre. There are lots of items and customisation though and it can be a real time sink at times because the people who play the game to the max level to lvl 9999 which can take hours.

I tether (iPhone4S) as I have unlimited tethering plan, my mate has the 3G Vita and that works great too.

You could convert ebooks/comics to pictures and do it that way...
there are some tools that certainly do that for PDF quite easily
Google around a little and you should find some

Got my Vita, man it is awesome. Got the 3G (so I can add a play later if I want) Uncharted and Hot Shots Golf.
Thanks again to you guys for answering my questions. Now I just gotta wait till Oct for Person 4.

My only major beef with it is the fact that you have to transfer stuff to the Vita using the Vita, not like the PSP where I could hook it up and do everything with my PS3 controller. Not the end of the world but don't really understand the purpose of making it that way.

I might have some more questions about it now that i have it and playing with it......

You could through content managing hook the usb to the vita and ps3 and copy stuff over. Gotta make sure the ps3 is on though lol
