Understandably, there's a lot of chat going on in regards to the PS4.

As time goes on, it will only get more commonplace.

That said, PS4 chat doesn't fit in the PS3 section - nor really well anywhere else for that matter.

Is it time for a PS4 sub-forum to keep all this stuff together/in one place?

Yeah, it's still a bit early.

Apart from the official thread, which is stickied in the PS3 Discussion forum, there's only three to four other threads posted on the first page talking about the next-gen console. An announcement from Sony would really help to kick things off.

Yep, as soon as it's officially announced, there will be a section. Perhaps if there's a lot of leaked info and rumors leading up to E3 2013, we'll proactively put up a section, but that's as early as we'll go.
