I got the inspiration for this from reading a RedFlagDeals thread that basically has people posting snacks and drinks that are discontinued or not seen anywhere. The other part of the inspiration was this: http://www.nowthatsnifty.com/2012/01...l#.T9zMPnC5cuw There's a list here of over 200 different chip flavours from all over the world and I thought it would be cool, since this a very multi-cultural forum, to see what people used to have in their gaming time back in the day or even recently, but was discontinued or nowhere to be found.
Post pics for reference if you want, spoiler tag it if it's over 5 images. I'll start:
This was by far the oddest drink I've ever had. It tasted ok, but boy did it give you massive heartburn lol. Can't say I'll miss it, but it's a nice collector's item if you've kept one on the shelf.
Now these were amazing because they tasted like Salsa. I would have these on the weekends playing N64. Discontinued, but I miss them.
I don't see this is Canada anymore, but it was my alternative to Froot Loops. It wasn't that great, but it was good.
I remember having this in high school. It was basically Mountain Dew with a tiny hint of lemon. But mostly tasting like Mountain Dew. We all had it almost everyday. I think it's discontinued almost entirely in NA. The eastern part of the US still sells it apparently.
I'll try to post some more if I can remember any and let's keep this thread alive, please. Double posting is unofficially allowed, as long as it's other products![]()

Yeah, Mello Yello is still being sold in convenience stores, I believe. It's just not as popular as other soft drinks like Mountain Dew or 7UP.
Does anyone remember Surge? I used to drink the stuff when I was a kid. It was discontinued in 2003, apparently, but I've read that Vault was the next best thing for those who wanted to see it come back. Ironically, it suffered the same fate, spawning another movement on Facebook.
Oreo O's were pretty good too.Last edited by Blacksite; 06-16-2012 at 20:40.

These were amazing. I loved these sweets with a passion. I was gutted when they stopped selling them.

They still sell this, I know, but they've changed it so much since it launched. I preferred the original recipe that turned your skin yellow/orange if you drank too much.

I don't see these anymore in Canada, but goddamn they were so good!!!
Another movie snack I had
I've seen this in stores but I thought it was alcohol which is why I never tried it..now I regret it...apparently they were highly toxic
I vaguely remember this limited series, but there a mint version of Sprite that I thought I would try..I puked it out.
I had to have one of these bad boys in the household but it wasn't that great..I think it was still ketchup, but with different colors..not gonna miss this one

I REALLY miss the variations of Mountain Dew (red one I liked), and the Coke Vanilla/BlackCherry/Lime. Those were awesome!

Vanilla Coke was the bomb! It was my favorite pop drink ever..until I saw it in stores no more..then Coke Zero came out..I love that. Cherry Coke was my least favorite, but I liked the 90's version of it.
They still sell this, but it's not the same taste as when it came out...feels a lot more sweet, with a very vague hint of Vanilla...and Pepsi also ripped off coke with their version of Vanilla Pepsi..Pepsi sucks!

I came here to mention surge, but its been mentioned. I think Slurm was making fun of Surge because the cans look almost identical.

Oh yeah! I remember those! lol good find.
Breaking my own rules here, but I will say this, they don't taste as good as they did back in the day. I remember a classmate kept having this for his lunch everyday at school and when I finally tried a can, I was hooked. That was around the time Chunky Soup came out too..that was good too, but now it tastes like shit.

Nestlé made this candy that I always bought. It was a hollow ball of chocolate and the center would have candy like Sweet Tarts, but they would be Disney-themed, shaped like characters in The Lion King.
The WonderBall might have been the name.
