I just wanted to wish a Happy Father's Day to the men of PSU!
Father's Day is underrated and so are fathers.
By the way, check out www.google.com . Look at the background where the google letters are. You'll see an "L" sitting in a chair and an animation unfolds . . .

I received my card and gift from my little girl last night in the form of a beautiful meal at one of my favourite restaurants with some amazing company. While I was thankful, I feel that I don't need a card or present. Hell, I consider myself lucky enough to have such a beautiful little girl.

I would say good decent fathers like mine who dont use and abuse are never given enough recognition in life.

Nice thread, Happy Father’s day to us Dads

Walking over to the beach in a bit, probably wind up with a replay of last week

Awesome day at the beach, rough but fun (“Go in the deep, deep ocean Dad!”, hahaha, already a thrill seeker):

Great thread! I'm not a father myself but I helped raised my nephew for the first year and a half of his life due to a dead beat piece of shit not "manning up." I got a dose of reality of how much one must sacrifice to be a good parent. I lost my father at 14 years old. So just know whether you are celebrating for your father or the father in your life don't ever take advantage of it. The moments and love you share can be gone with the blink of an eye. Fortunately I had the greatest father anyone could ask for and I reflect on the great times I shared with that man every time this day comes around. Hats off to all the real fathers out there in the world! You are appreciated.

This fathers day was a big deal for my family this year. My dad was declared cancer free a couple months ago so it was a huge celebration. Just happy to see him well, and he was just happy to be seen. That man is such a baws.

Somebody get me a doctor, I ain't feelin' ill ...But I ain't feelin' this at all...

I'm sorry for your loss. Its the truth though, cancer is just pure nastiness. Treatments are almost just as brutal in my opinion. The surgery my dad went through sounded like Mengele created it himself, but it really demonstrated the tenacity of humanity to me. Mind boggling that we can figure this stuff out, and equally mind boggling what the body can withstand.
