Old games all the way.I love gaming nowadays. But, in general, they don't compare to the games of the past.

Gaming now is to easy and boring in some cases. But i do play modern games, bit not as much as old games

Give me a choice and i would past up the chance to play a new game for an old game any day

New games, i like new experiences. Nostalgia skews old experiences and is rather personal. I'll cherish them, but i always want something fresh.

Old games were really good and classic. I remember playing games like age of empires 1 and Caesar 3. Those games were extremely good and i had really good memories playing those games as a kid. The current generation of games is awful.

I feel sorry for anyone who started gaming this gen and were not able to be part of the NES into the PS1. Those were the golden age of gaming...imo

I have to agree. The SNES/Genesis into N64/PS era was notably memorable for me. I think 1994 is when gaming really starting to pickup with great games being widely available. You also had full motion videos being introduced on early disc consoles such as Sega CD.

Donkey Kong Country was a good sign of where gaming was headed outside of the typical 2D scrolling platformer. Then came Crash Bandicoot and Super Mario 64 at a time when gaming was huge.

Those were the days when the only multiplayer was having real friends or family over for fun gaming sessions.

For me personally, my favorite 10 year span of gaming was between 1996 - 2006 (PC and game consoles) give or take a year. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of games I enjoy since then but my nostalgia sweet spot is in the past.
