Don't like how Karl Urban is trying the rugged voice. He sounds like he's trying too hard there. Nice to see Lena Headey, the brother-fucker from Game of Thrones in this. She appears to be taking a bath, that should give you Thrones fans a boner or two.

Plot seems a little too similar to The Raid Redemption.
I doubt it will be as awesome.
Did we just see the death of the main bad guy in the damn trailer at the end? Did they seriously just show that?

Yeah that seriously screams the Raid and I've only seen the trailer for that. I dunno, give it a chance you guys..you might just be surprised..but I completely agree on the Batman voice..what's worse is that it looks like he's trying to have a rugged voice, but at the same time trying not to imitate the batman voice. Just in between and it sounds horrible. I love the look the city and the costumes. The female co-lead doesn't seem convincing to me as a cop character lol.
Oh and I haven't read the comics, but I know some of you have..how does this compare to the Stallone flick?

I actually don't like the look of the city it looks too small, hopefully it doesn't just take place inside that building. The uniforms don't look good either lol man this movie looks like crap compare to Sly's, then again it looks like a low budget. But I do like the guns though lol.

The Stallone Dredd was a fun action comedy dripping with enough cheese to clog the arteries of everyone who saw it.
For what it was i liked it but i wasnt a fan of the comic because they cried bloody murder. I can see why though because its like finding out a franchise you love is being directed by Michael Bay. This new movie however doesnt even look fun.Last edited by HellsJester; 06-23-2012 at 01:18.
