Really looking forward to this one, I haven't finished Generations yet but really enjoyed Storm 2. Besides the old Heat the Soul Bleach games on PSP there really hasn't been a good game for anime until this Storm series imo

The part about deeper story really has been intrigued, Storm 2's was good and Generations so far is better but I have a feeling this one will top both of them.

Confirming last week’s rumors, Namco Bandai has launched the official website forNaruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3. Currently, it is only a teaser page, pictured below.

A post on the game’s developer blog asks fans to find further details in Monthly V Jump, Weekly Shonen Jump, and Saikyou Jump. It also promises a further evolved combat system and deeper story.
The game is due for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2013.

I hope it keeps the RPGness and takes place after 2. I'm not interested in generations, though you get to play through more of the story (I'd prefer to play it then watch it lol)

They've already released a scan showing a boss battle against the 9tails. Its on saiyanisland, im typing this from my phone so cant post the scan myself. The story starys with the the minato/kushina flashback

Holy sh*t I was hoping they would announce the third game since I planned on skipping generations.
This way we can now have Rinnegan madara and hopefully eternal mangekyou sasuke

This game starts after pains defeat? regardless of how far generations got sinve this is a sequel to the 2nd game. ( generations was more like an expansion on uns2.

So uns3 will start with the birth of naruto and the 9tails disaster, before jumping to the present time for the kage summit arc. I hope they include sasuke vs killerbee as a story boss, since it was a standard battle in uns2

awesome trailer I love how they've got all the ninjas around the 3rd during the gameplay...epic!
Even though the quality is extremely low, the animation and shading seem way above the past games and jumping from roof to roof to avoid the attacks looks awesome.

Hes on about when you said rinnegan madara and eternal mangekyou sasuke, not about the eye techniques themselves. Which are spoilers, and totally uncool.

Madara has told sasuke that when your eye sight starts to fade and you implant new eyes you get the "ever lasting light" for your eyes. The series explained how madara got his eyes aswell by taking his brothers'.

I feel like I'm watching a different anime than you guys now. And EVERYONE knew sasuke had implanted new eyes so why is it such a big deal?

Not sure why you're giving itachi a hard time. Rinnegan madara and ems sasuke are in no way spoilers if you're up to date with the anime. We've seen rinnegan madara as he and kabuto left for war and we know sasuke is getting the ems... So whats the problem here?

If you're worried about spoilers dont follow this game as they will have spoilers just like how they spoiled narutos chakra mode in generations before it was revealed in the anime.

Edit: I dont think itachi reads the manga either after doing a quick check to see if hes posted in the manga thread

Errr yes it is already in story, sasuke took itachis eyes after he beat danzo which means he already has eternal sharingan though it hasnt been shown yet it is in the anime and has been mentioned.
