Disappointed they didn't offer a huge discount on a game I really wanted. Arma 2 at 40% off isn't that great of a discount in my opinion considering I only really want it for DayZ

Ok that does it, just purchased The Witcher 2, Dead Island's Ryder White DLC, and Football Manager 2012. I will NOT purchase any more games from Steam now for a while - unless Civ V Gods and Kings, Shogun 2 Fall of the Samurai, Endless Space, or Torchlight come out or are much cheaper. >_>

Yep same exact thing here. I guess because DayZ is fairly new they didn't want to do a huge discount on it because they knew people would still buy at 40% off. Although I'm not one of them. Sorry Steam.

Sorry guys, 40% off is still a good saving though I know it doesn't seem like it when some games go up to 75%.

Blacksite, you've won yourself a copy of Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War II which I'll send on next time I'm on Steam - probably tomorrow evening. Hope you enjoy it! Apologies gangsta_795, I only had 1 copy to give away.

Yeah it's a good discount just hard to pull the trigger on it when, like you said, there are numerous games that are 75% off. I want the game just not that bad.

I think I've officially tapped out. Spent more than I wanted to. But got some great deals. Missed out on Payday the Heist twice though and really wanted L4D2 but again, I missed out.

At least got Portal 2 and some other MP games.

Also, if anyone still plays BF2 be sure to hit me up.

For people getting Arma 2 for Day Z, keep in mind that Day Z is getting its own client in September.

Friend gifted me ARMA II: Combined Operations, and I bought myself one last game: Torchlight.

Only bought myself Dead Island, Alan Wake Bundle, DD Eternal Shards Complete, and some other DD DLC. I think I did good with holding back.

Well just picked up Splinter Cell Conviction. Unfortunately now I have to play all the others because I have no idea how the story goes. Plus I figured it was enough missing out on the franchise.

A friend on Steam told me, but he's a bit derpy and I chose to look it up. I couldn't find any source form the developers, so it probably isn't true after all.

It seems I finally got those two achievements I was talking about earlier for the Summer Camp badge. It happened after the Steam store reverted back to its original layout. The only difference is that they don't show the achievements themselves but if you were keeping track of your progress then it would tell you how much you needed to 'level up' your tree house.

I actually think it's a pretty cool feature; seeing how involved people are in the different activities Steam has to offer.

Did I serious miss all the good stuff? I've been sort of ignoring steam for the last month.

I still plan on waiting for Skyrim GoTY edition (and a nice discount) before I end up re-buying it legit for PC.

Also I want Witcher 2, it looks cool.

    I bought in order:

    Super Meat Boy
    Plants vs. Zombies
    Amnesia: The Dark Descent
    Alan Wake Bundle
    Dungeon Defenders
    Football Manager 2012

I did want more and I would have bought 5-10 other games if I had the cash to just throw away. If these sales had waited a few weeks I'd have more.
