I already have Dragon Age: Origins installed on my PC from a while back. Great game too. And one of the few PC games I own that's a physical copy.

It finally happened. I was starting to worry it wouldn't but it has. I now own The Witcher 2.
Happy days!

Contemplating Alan Wake, own it on 360.. but $10 and I get American Nightmare as well. Thankfully I got 33 hours to decide lol
Serious, but probably stupid question: are the shadows better in the PC version? I recall the shadows in the 360 version in his hair and blood, etc. really took me out of it.

On previous sales picked up Amnesia and Left 4 Dead 2. And gifted my brother some DLC for New Vegas. Been good not to just impulse buy every title that sounds interesting.

I want so many games but I think I'll buy them later when they come in the other deals (daily, weekend, midweek)

Yea I mumbled and moaned about it too a few posts back. Keep trying to switch download regions in the Steam settings eventually you might find a fast server thats not clogged up.

So tempted to get Alan Wake on PC mainly for American Nightmare that comes with it. Steam sales are always too good to turn down.

If any of you guys can also appreciate 'smaller' games, and you're a fan of space then check out Solar 2. You move around in space as a small rock and slowly collect mass by hitting other rocks, and you progress from an asteroid all the way through to a black hole. It's a fun little game, and there's even a demo for it.
Honestly it's a sort of mindless fun, but it has just enough variety to keep it from becoming repetitively boring. If you can get a friend to play it with you then it's definitely worth it.Last edited by Rapture; 07-20-2012 at 02:05.

Nexuiz is a great looking game but its deader than the DODO online and they recently added a DLC which will kill it even more oh and by the ay the DLC includes a game mode that should be standard feature of all FPS arena style games "Duel" so to play 1v1 with 1v1 sized maps we have to pay for it.
T being so cheap may kickstart a wave of players bu I doubt it will last long.Last edited by keefy; 07-20-2012 at 02:49.

Oh really? I bought it anyway, never mind can't complain for less than £2
I bought Dead Island and Alan Wake + American Nightmare
I've been interested in Dead Island for a little bit now for a bit of mindless fun and cheap thrills. I've also been wanting to see what all the fuss surrounding Alan Wake was about

While I haven't played a single minute ( apart from booting the game to mess around with the settings) The Witcher series seems like a really underrated one imo.
Anybody that's played it here?
Also, missed out on L4D2 - looks like the last cheap sale till this ends in 2 days. Hoping that Payday the Hei$t comes back on so I can play with some peeps

I went ahead and bought Alan Wake + American Nightmare. Oh Steam sales how I love and hate you all the same. I'm not one for impulse buying either. Oh well.
Okay I have a question.
I already own Fallout NV but I don't own any of the DLC. Now if I buy all the DLC seperately it actually works out to cost more than buying the Ultimate Edition which includes a copy of the game.
Is there a way I can get rid of my old copy to gift to someone or will I forever have two copies if I were to buy the Ultimate Edition?Last edited by emmerich; 07-20-2012 at 05:45.

Just bought Dead Island, and Alan Wake complete for American Nightmare, and apparently AW on PC has both DLCs.
Sadly I dont think theres anyway of knowing, it seems to be a game by game basis if they will give you a giftable copy of it.
Try adding it to your cart and see what it says?

I think he means he wants to buy the ultimate edition but gift his OLD copy. Which I don't think is possible, but you can try sending Steam support an email and see if they can help you.

He wouldnt be able to gift the OLD copy, I just assumed he might geta new copy of the standard game to gift if he owned it already but thats not always likely
