I don’t know about stunning, but it’s a decent entry into the low[er] cost, mid-sized tablet market. I hope it at least doesn’t have the issues the/my Kindle Fire had (and it’s at least a little more “open” OOTB).
I love the constant new OS announcements, hey, how about getting more than 10% of the phones on the previous version _first_.
This product at least makes sense, there’s a market (as evidenced by the KF), but the Q Media device just seems like what will be another so-so attempt at unifying a technology brand around media consumption."Remember, you're young only once but you can be immature forever."

For those people who are interested in this keep in mind it wont have flash. Adobe gave up on the flash on mobile project so it more than likely wont be supported by 4.1. They said on their site they going to limit access ton it those who already have it installed on their device soon.

Meh, this tablet seems kinda basic. Flash on my SONY tablet S runs fine, hope nothing changes .
Currently running 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich and loving it, especially now that memory cards are mounted directly.

I'd be all over this if it had a micro SD card slot.

I'm seriously considering purchasing this beast. No slot for adding memory is a let down, but it isn't necessarily mandatory for me.

Yeah same here F34R. I don't really use my desktop mainly because everything is on my laptop and it feels more convenient for web-browsing and emailing etc. But getting this tab would allow me to transfer all my windows/laptop stuff to my desktop and sell my laptop.
Plus I like the 7 inch form factor. Nice for reading in bed.
Need to weigh up how vital storage space is for me.Last edited by Nitey; 07-03-2012 at 17:23.

Ugh, there's a little light bleed I can see if I turn all the brightness up, and put a black screen on the wallpaper, and make sure it's pitch dark in the room. I've also found a single dead pixel.

The gaming on it is freakin' great so far.
Here is what I've played so far:

I'm loving it. I replaced that one I took back today. It all worked out really good too. Tax free day at walmart. So, I received my $267 refund. I had a game to return to walmart, got a $32 credit there. So, $249.99 - $32 = $217.99 for this tablet.
I didn't think gaming on these things were going to be worth more than quick sessions... how wrong I was!! I've enjoyed all the games so far, and it will get even better. Apps, that's another story. I've had to research a little more in depth regarding apps I need. With the $25 google play credit they give you, you can spend to your hearts content!
I'm happy with it for sure. I could have just deposited the money and move on... however, I like it; carrying it with me through the house if I'm watching tv, laying in bed, etc. Just nice to have.

Seeing the prices of the iPads essentially turned me off from the tablet market. Ever since I've kind of ignored any threads I've seen about tablets, but now I'm starting to reconsider. This tablet looks pretty damn nice, and it's pretty cheap in comparison to the iPad. I still am not convinced to purchase one, as I can't see when I'd use one, but my interest level is definitely rising.
