Vita needs a proper Monster Hunter!

I still remember the craze that was Monster Hunter on the PSP, especially in Japan. I used to get every single iteration and played them for literally hundreds of hours each online.

This is the main reason why I still haven't purchased a Vita yet.

Sony needs to negotiate with Capcom!

I just got Freedom Unite today, from the PSN sale. It'll be my first MH experience, so I'm looking forward to it

You're definitely right that they need to bring it to Vita though, I'm sure there are plenty of people just waiting for it to be announced, just like yourself

I have never played a MH game in my life. I am actually sick of people talking about Monster Hunter lol. I seen the Wii version being played and I thought it looked like shit.

MH needs to come back to a PS console, last one i played was the first one on PS2. Loved every second of it.

Fuck man, what an amazing franchise. When I was little and went back home in vacations, my friends and I would team up to take tons and tons and tons of monsters. What an awesome game. One of the last things Capcom made right before turning into Crapcom.

I still hold out hope that the monster hunter title confirmed by play.com as legit will come out.

Capcom asked them to remove the listing though. It was MH Portable 3rd - presumably the HD release.

I played some version on the PSP a long time ago. Fun game, just too complicated for my liking.

But yes, I agree. A vita version will skyrocket the console in Japan.

I played the MHFU demo on PSP and couldn't get into it at all. Only reason I'd want one to come to the Vita is so that it'll sell more so other Japanese devs will develop for it.

It's a very love-it-or-hate-it kinda game. It also helps playing with lots of people. Gearing up for the big game is awesome. Rarely have I ever gotten that anxious/excited before getting into a brawl in a game.

I know they're not similar, but maybe Ragnarok Odyssey will take MHs place until one is announced. I know I'm definitely amped for Ragnarok.

I totally agree! The 3DS is getting a MH game for itself soon, so maybe a Vita one on the horizon very soon? For now, I started a new MH Freedom Unite file again on my Vita, because of account issues on it. I still don't mind repeating everything again.

The Monster Hunter series is either a love or hate series, I love so, yeah lol. Sony has really dropped the ball not snagging the series for the Vita ASAP.

You mean PSP games supporting dual analogue? So far only Monster Hunter and Type 0 support it that I know of.
