Share some stories of being here on Canada Day, or if you're a foreigner, American who has been to Canada before. I live in an awesome city called Mississauga and our mayor is in her 90's, but she's been mayor for almost 40 years in a row!! She's still in active shape as she was jumping around on stage being enthusiastic about Canada Day..

I barely heard like 3 fireworks tonight. Why the hell do we have fireworks on the 4th July and not on the 1st?!

I'm late as well but happy Canada Day! Toronto is pretty great as well but I really need to go to Ottawa for Canada Day one year!
Dre, you know any good Canada day festivities around the country?
As much as I love Toronto..if you are coming to Canada, go to Ottawa and Montreal first. If you are feeling adventurous after visiting those two places... then Banff National Park.

Canada is still part of the Commonwealth its not independant in the sense that USA is.

I didnt even realize it was Canada Day till I noticed stores I wanted to shop at were closed early, and later last night I heard fire works.

I live in Toronto, and I didn't even hear a firework in my neighbourhood.
cops meeting to discuss how they will block the roads for the night
