A lot of people hate EA, but they helped bring me the Mass Effect and Dead Space series, and for that they're sort of my favorites so far. Only Rockstar game I own is Red Dead Redemption, and while it was a great game, I think it was a bit over hyped and not my GoTY. Felt like a stripped down Fallout with horses to me.
So basically I'm in support of Bioware and Visceral games more specifically. There are ton of great developers this generation, but I think Mass Effect has become my new favorite franchise (perhaps tied with Metal Gear Solid).

I'm going with an outside choice and picking Rocksteady.
They've built 2 great games with Batman, in a genre that normally pumps out sh*t despite a very strong IP. They've re-legitimised the superhero video game, in my opinion.

Although I really don't like what EA is doing these days - everything must have multiplayer, everything must be made to resemble Call of Duty - they've generally put out the most games this gen that I've really enjoyed, like Mass Effect 2, Dead Space, Shift 1 & 2, and The Saboteur.
I'm going with Ubisoft, I have enjoyed both the Assassin's Creed series and Rayman Origins is just fantastic, as Rayman Legends will be.
I'm all for EA due to Mass Effect, but at the same time I can't really vote for just one.
