IMO, I would have to say rockstar. They are the only ones that have put out consistent quality titles. Though Max Payne 3 isnt as high of quality as the others, many parts in the game are great but theres also a few that just seem to be there to piss me off. ><
Rather sad though, if it was last gen it would of been level-5, followed close by Square Enix, and Capcom tied in second.

IMO Bethesda. I love their RPGs like the Elder Scrolls series (my favorite) and the Fallout series. I have sank so many hours into their games and I always enjoy the DLC that they put out for those games.

I would have to say Rockstar.
I used to give much more props to Valve, but their catalog consists mostly of mods that they've turned into stand alone products, or development teams that they've hired under temporary contract.__________

My vote goes to Naughty Dog. The Uncharted series, and soon to be "The Last of Us". Best dev team in my book.
Santa Monica Studios gets my 2nd pick.

Gotta be Rockstar and it isn't even close. These guys put out a lot of quality over quantity this generation of "games". They didn't try to squeeze you of your last dollar with bullshit DLC either. In my opinion at least. Hope they continue their trend going into the next generation.

I agree with $Greatness$. The man speaks a lot of truth.

Valve would have taken the top spot but, honestly, the fact that we're still waiting on the next Half-Life doesn't really make them the best current-gen third party developers. I enjoyed Portal 2 though and Left 4 Dead 2 was alright.Steam & PlayStation Network: BlacksitePSU | 3DS Friend Code: 1349-4916-2054

I would say it is a tie between Ubisoft and R*. Both have had some amazing titles and have not sacrificed quality in any situation. Best of the best in my books. If I had to choose I would say R* simply because they brought us the greatness that was RDR.
On a side note why is Level 5 on this list? No where near the competition imo.

Bioware or Atlus. Amazing games from both.

Rockstar Games:
Even though I didn't GTA4 too much, Episodes from Liberty City is the best form of DLC ever. Hell, I'd even call it an Expansion Pack, because that's what it is. That's how you do DLC. They got that right. Twice now, with Undead Nightmare for RDR. Why? Because it adds hours of NEW gameplay.

Ubisoft - RB6V/2, PoP - 2008 and the AC games
Infinity ward - CoD4:MW - Easily the best shooter this generation that every other has tried to emulate.
Bioware - ME1-ME3 has easily been my favourite franchise this generation. The third wasn't able to live up to the 2nd expectations but it was still a brilliant game!

I voted R* pending on Beyond's release. If the game delivers like Heavy rain, I'll the the title over to them!
