Well they eventually sorted the Reach issue, but yeah that was not good, I dont think it was on purpose, more an oversight (rember when Halo 3 played worse when installed to the HDD). No one is calling any one a moron either, but if you can afford Halo 4, you can probably afford a flash memory stick to go with it.
And at least they have given people fair warning, unlike the Reach problem.
I dont think anyone harps on about mandatory installs, I do find it it funny when people suggest that its for any other reason than the fact that BR is so dam slow however.
If you think mandatory installs are the future in the next gen, then I hope your wrong, because it will mean we havent got ourselves any faster media options, and while I'm fine for things like DLC and "enhanced" streaming options to be optional, and if the game itself uses the HDD for recording or whatever, but I really really hope we can get away from using the HDD as an install space fo rthe main game.

@Mynd.
I'll have to delete the install and check this out.

Halo 4 trailer shows new glimpses at multiplayer.
A new Halo 4 trailer has popped up on Halo Waypoint, offering a few fresh seconds of multiplayer footage.
On show are the game's Regicide and Infinity Slayer modes, which were recently demoed to MLG players.
Multiplayer maps Haven, Adrift and Longbow are also showcased, which offer a mix of gameplay in both close-up and wide environments.

Yep. If you've got the space, installing is the best way to go on 360. Love that feature (moreso because of how annoyingly loud the dvd drive can get)

Agreed, the drives on these consoles these days spinning and stopping began getting on my nerves a few years ago, the timing for optional installs was well timed imo.
