Main things I wish the PS3 had was: PS2 BC didnt get taken away to save money, and that the PSN stores download list wasnt complete garbage. Forgetting a title of a game you own, or a demo you played, results in spending 15 minutes to locate it.

..also wish when theres big sales going on, like now, that the PS3 would let me add funds to my damn wallet. Happened last July, and its happening again yet its somehow my end. I used it last month with zero issues.

I wish the BC had texture smoothing like the PS2 had for PSone games, and other enhancements for both PSone & PS2 games and sharper IQ in emulation, that would be nice.

It does have that, press the PS button while playing a PS1/PS2 games and under Game Settings IIRC.

Almost everything above seems to be a bit nit picky from my perspective, but each person will have their own opinions.

All the items listed as complaints/feature wishes are things I could care less about (and I think the majority of PS3 users would agree on.)

The one thing I'd like to see improved upon is Backup/Restore to a new system. The pier to pier is great for this, but it does no good if you're wanting to move the HDD over from an old system to an new one (i.e. a 500GB drive you upgraded your old one that's now had a blinking red light of death, which you've fixed, and backed up and want to use this drive in the other system.) You're restore is only the gamesaves, no downloaded games, no game installs (which f's up games like LBP2 that don't look for the LBP2 game save even though you have it on the system.) The only solution is to buy another 500GB HDD and do a pier to pier transfer.

I agree here. In game screen capture...be it screenshots AND video capture.

Best item I've seen added here. I'd much rather have something like Google Play online store for this and have it queue up the games and DLC for download. This is especially true when I need to go find all my DLC from past games to get it working on the new system w/ the old HDD.

Uhm, this feature is there. I use it just about every time I have a large file. When you have a download (or queue of downloads), just use the XMB to select the power off - Scroll to the left and select "power off" under the "users" menu and it will give you a box to check if you want to continue to download and power off after downloads are complete.

Yeah it installs them as well before turning off, so you don't have to do that when you turn it on next time.

I would like to see a few things added, I really wish split screen was better, not being able to log in as yourself only a guest sometimes defeats the purpose of playing split screen. This second one is a small wish but I wish I could create folders right on the PS3 for things like music and pictures, also can we get the option to sort games by name. I hate it Sam and Max episode one may be at the top of the list and 2, 3 and 4 way at the bottom. I want to see all my games in alphabetic order. Same thing with the download list, it sucks just having to go through the whole list looking for items you need to re download after you get a new system. I really wish the remote play worked better, it was such a good idea control your PS3 from anywhere in the world, but it just does not work well enough (for me anyways) to use. That’s all I can think of right now. But man if the PS3 had this stuff I would love it even more, and I already love my poor PS3 to death lol.
