When I receive one on PS3, I can read the message to see a possible reason why this person wants to add me.
If the message is blank, I mostly don't accept.
But there is no message to read on the Vita.

They need to fix Friend Requests
Almost everyone will say: buy console that has games that you want, and those who say otherwise are ignorant.

You can't create a message on the Vita when sending a friends request. I just sent you a friends request btw lol.

Well then they need to give us the ability to add a text to the friend request. I don't understand why they could not keep that from PS3

There are several things they need to do firmware wise on both platforms, but it is what it is right now.

Thanks for the friend request F34R, but if I did not know it was you, then I would have declined the request.
I guess I could look at your trophies and see which games that I intend to play we have in common.Almost everyone will say: buy console that has games that you want, and those who say otherwise are ignorant.

I agree on the cancellation of friends requests. If I didn't know the PSN ID, I wouldn't accept the request.

Actually my largest issue with the vita has to be video chat on the vita you cannot video chat with the psvita to the ps3 unless you have 3g it only works on 3g service it is locked when you switch to wifi which is unfair and quite expensive to the consumer can you imagine your 3 gig limit goes by in one video chat and they charge you another 30 dollers without even teling you your video chat is now costing you 60.00 a chat

You gotta love Sony though. I mean, the meeting they had with AT&T to try and do the "money" thing lol.
Anyways, really... Sony has a lot of work that needs to be done on their firmware, right now. We'll see how it goes though. The fact that some of the issues in the PS3 firmware that has been there since day 1, still haven't been fixed ~ well, don't hold your breath for the Vita firmware to get all tidy.
