Uncharted rip-off called ‘Adventurer’ 1st person perspective.

    Look it's Sully's younger brother!

    http://gamingbolt.com/uncharted-rip-...looks-stunning

A new game called ‘Adventurer’ made by a polish studio called The farm51 looks pretty amazing, but the catch here is that it looks a wee bit similar to Uncharted. The good thing is that there’s a gameplay video of the whole thing, so you can check it out for yourself.

Not much details are known about it, but it will be released on the Xbox 360 and PC sometime next year unless Sony has something to do about it.

“Adventure shooter in first-person perspective allows players to feel like treasure hunters and adventurers. The combination of dynamic gunfights, engaging storyline, ingenious traps and mechanisms ensure an unforgettable experience of a native of Indiana Jones movies. Embedding the shares in the thirties of last century, giving it a unique style,” rough translate via their site.

The main features of the game

A unique blend of classical cinema atmosphere of adventure-person shooter action game.

The game combines action and exploration – shootings, car chases, puzzles.

Avoid the guards left behind by the ancient treasures of the traps and use them to fight the enemies.

Visiting exotic locations, including Egypt, the Arctic and ancient Mayan cities.

Puzzles and mysteries, in which we use to solve the treasure hunter gear – unusual compass, notebook, treasure map, a flashlight, and even dynamite.

Full story twists, international conspiracy, espionage, and organizations seeking powerful artifacts.

A powerful arsenal of weapons of the era, from the guns on the Panzerfaust.

The improvement of weapons and upgrade skills of the hero.

The fascinating world of the 30s the last century – architecture, music, clothing, vehicles and weapons straight from the best Hollywood movies rogue.

Multiplayer mode Treasure Hunt, in which the outside weapon you can use traps to eliminate enemies.
Here's another, non English I'm afraid.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. ND should definitely take it as a compliment that other developers try to imitate Uncharted even though those imitations fall incredibly short of the real deal.

I'd say the same (except the falling short bit) with Tomb Raider and Steven Spielberg's Indiana Jones franchise from where this all began.

Yep exactly. Except that Uncharted took that concept to another level IMO.

I don't care who they copy, so long as it is fun.

Agreed. When you get down to brass tacks all genres copy each other. If its a good game then it doesn't matter.

Tomb Raider will most likely fill my void of wanting an action adventure TPS on the 360, but this game could very well end up being the icing on the cake considering 360 gamers went from no Uncharted like titles to 2 Uncharted like titles.

I like the controller on the 360 mostly for FPS/TPS so this could be a lot of fun for me.

Yeah I also prefer the 360 controller for racing games as well as FPS and TPS. I almost got one of those 360 like controllers for my PS3 but they felt too plasticy and cheap.

Tomb Raider has been and probably always will be my favorite for games of this nature. I am sure this game will not take me away from the next Tomb Raider (or come close to the polish, story and gameplay). But I will not say that concretely, since I have not played this game yet. I remain optimistic. Though I would rather stare at Lara's tits for 9 hours

It doesn't actually look that bad you know? I'm still laughing at the lame, lame, LAME PC game that imitates Uncharted though

Variety is the spice of life! I'm also in the Uncharted camp. I much prefer Drake as a character over Lara, who for the most part of her career has been quite an uninteresting character personality wise. Didn't stop me from adoring all the TR games up until Angel of Darkness.

OT, generic FPS genre meets Uncharted...Well it's a better effort than that Uncharted rip off from the middle east...what was it called..*ponders*

Is it honestly getting to the point now that any adventure game that is released is branded an Uncharted rip-off? It has similarities to the series, but so does the new Tomb Raider game, and even Last of Us (I know it's made by ND but it still looks a lot like Uncharted) but thats about it.

My personal opinions are not endorsed by PSU. But they should be.

Well Uncharted ripped off Tomb Raider, so I would consider this game more of a Tomb Raider rip off. Though I am sure that Tomb Raider ripped off Pitfall.
