    The power supply was on sale, is modular with a really good bunch of long cables for routing underneath the mobo. It was only $160 and it will be ready for another GTX680 that way. My experience with the past three PC builds spread over several years is the graphics card can be upgraded two to three times in about two years span before the PC isn't worth upgrading any more. This justifies it for me, although in two years, the PC goes from being worth a couple thousand to maybe a couple hundred. This build seems like it can be upgraded for at least two years or more.

    i7 3930k
    biostar x79
    galaxy 560ti
    8gb of ram
    2t hard drive
    asus blu ray drive

    .. Upgrades pondering.. around christmas
    SSD 256+ (for gaming and OS)
    higher end videocard.. most games dont support sli so I dont know if ill keep the 560
    and 8gigs more of ram

    You don't really need SLi , and i would say 8gb is ok

    For a gamer anything over 8GB for I reckon the next 2 years is overkill and will just be a waste. Keep your 560Ti too as that will still last you a good year or more longer, there isn't anything really that'll make that card hurt in performance other than about 2 games - Metro 2033 and Shogun 2, that's it.
