What type of controller do u use??

So, I had this Batman Arkham Asylum controller, and it has started acting up (panning up for no reason). And I had a MadCatz that did the same thing (I let the battery run all the way down and it hasn't been the same since). I also have my original PS3 dualshock that works nicely (except for football for some reason).

Anyways, I was playing with the Batman controller and it is bigger. It's more like an XBox controller. I've tried to go back to the Dualshock controller, but it is SO SMALL that it is making my hands cramp. And the way the L2 and R2 buttons are shaped, my fingers slide off the triggers. I think I'll stop by my local game store and see what they have for PS3 controllers. I'm going to see if they have something with bigger grips and larger trigger buttons. It seems I spend as much money on controllers as I do on games.

So, what type of controller do you use??

Look at how small those grips are! Just enough to get my pinkie around it.

If you guys have never played with an XBox controller, you should give it a try. Especially if you're into shooters, where you have to use the triggers a LOT. The triggers are actually shaped like triggers. The surface is rounded-in instead of rounded-out, so your finger fits right in the groove (that's what she said) and doesn't slip off the back.

See how the stick tops are rounded in and the triggers flip up at the end? This controller was awesome. Now it's acting wonky and the dualshock doesn't cut it. It's like it was designed for an infant's hands.

I think the problem a lot of people have with the DualShock3 is that they hold it like a 360 pad. The DualShock needs to be rested on the fingers rather than palming the handles, like you do with a 360 controllers handles, otherwise it feels cramped or too small. Don't know how to describe it, but yeah those 2 beauties above are what I use. Apart from the triggers, which the Xbox controller nails, they are perfect.

I do use the 3rd party trigger attachments though. Can't live without them now.

I didn't really like the feel of the 360 controller especially with shooters it's just my opinion when I last played it at my cousins house.

Just the standard Black DualShock 3. I do use (I forget the brand) third party trigger clip ons though, which make the triggers a LOT better, they don't get pressed when you turn the controller off and just feel better to play with.

Edit: I got these ones but it doesn't matter what brand you get I recommend them for EVERYBODY though

Got the trigger attachments for $8. Good call. Better than spending $40 on a new controller.

I use one I custom made myself, like I took apart 4 different controllers and made the one I use, I'll try to getcha a picture and post it cuz it looks pretty sweet!
