The Vita has been out for like 6 months. Games do take time to make. I would understand this article being written maybe a year or 2 after the Vita launch, but 6 months? Give the damn thing some time.

Well I guess some confirmations or even rumbling that SOMEONE might be currently undertaking the games, though the Borderlands things just happened didn't it? so yeah maybe after a month or 2 with no infr this article could make more sense.

The Vita will be fine. Similar things were said about the PSP and the PS3.

In 12 months the doom and gloomers are going to eat their words. Some people are so short sighted, it's amazing. Short sighted and forgetful of the past, where just about every console built up momentum within and after the first year.
My concern over the Vita's success in terms of gaming and content? 0.00% 60 titles in the next 8 months suits me just fine.PSU GHOST SYNDICATE - DUST 514 Media HUB - Podcast - BLOG (Soon™)

Love my Vita, I have enough games on the backburner as it is, but Even the best mobile games cant give me the same console experience as my Vita, Although its very unlikely Sony will do something like this because it would compete with their lineup, but i would of wished that Sony would allow play google and thru there be able to access the majority of the .99 mobile games but that would conflict with there 39.99 core games.

Lol, it's quite funny actually... looking back at the 3ds price, lack of games, and people saying it was doomed, failure, etc. lol. Now look at it. Now people say that about the PS Vita, and they get flanked by people that said the 3ds was a failure, etc.
Best 'this and that' I can see.
I think it's ok to have a rant about the system slouching in a few areas. Some firmware issues, hardware utilization issues (wifi, I'm looking right at you!!), then the lack of new content over a decent period of time. Some people have that written down as a bad aspect of the Vita. Others have the hopes that things will be in favor of the Vita giving it some more time.
