Assuming it's not a typo for 160gb, 16gb would be a good move. Price it as low as possible and sell it as a media box, of sorts. Feel sorry that guy who will go out and buy GT5:XL edition though . At least he can buy a hdd to throw in I guess

Yeah but the price difference between a 16GB HDD and a 40GB HDD is probably only about $5, they're nowhere near as much as they were in 2006 so it makes no sense.

Hoping for flash and very low price so I can have one permanently at work instead of always carrying my slim around. Since i have a 750gb hdd laying around, a low priced SKU would be perfect.

It's pretty small. From the leaked pics it looked pretty much the same size as the current slim! If it doesn't have an external power supply, that's awesome

Btw - this new slim has a light for Wireless acitivity - but my silver slim doesnt

I, personally, like the fact that there is a sliding mechanism over the disc tray this go around. Fewer mechanical parts that can break while offering adequate protection of the disc. The low profile also gives it a sleek look in a media shelf and is truer to the original "phat" form factor. I might get one of these.

EDIT: It also has the original LEDs from the phat, I'm liking it. Shame there's no sign of the card readers though, hope it has wireless N.

Hard drives ar ent cheap as chips thesedays this time last year a 1TB drive cost me £35 today it would cost £60 even more for a laptop 2.5 inch drive.
