1/ probably the most unreliable console to ever be built..
2/ the least amount of exclusives of any console this gen..
3/ stupidly expensive add ons like HD's, rechargeable battery's, wireless adaptors..
4/ you have to pay for each user to go on-line even when they all use the same damn console..
5/ a dashboard that takes a fookin age to load..
so PS3 v 360, no contest really.

I agree!
I dont really care for the ability of XGC and easy MP...Paying to play online is fucked and people bitch and moan about how expensive the PS3 is but people who have had a 360 from around launch have paid just as much if not more for the ability to do what every other gaming platform gets for free. Some people find value in that, I don't. Also, the output of exclusives next to Sony's is shameful: "not only are we going to charge for what our competitor offers for free, we will reward our consumers with a much lower output of exclusives. All good, we'll give them something to watch instead".
These are the two things that stopped my €€€ finding their way into MS's account.PSU GHOST SYNDICATE - DUST 514 Media HUB - Podcast - BLOG (Soon™)

I am on my 4th Xbox 360, while my PS3 is still going strong (40GB launch model). I own them both and have good/bad things to say about both of them.
360
- I hate paying for XBL, but at the same time I rather game online with my 360. Go figure.
- I have no faith in the console lasting, at all. My faith was lost 3 times already....
PS3
- Mandatory installs....
- No cross game chat ability.
- Has more exclusives that I enjoy over the 360.
So to summarize. If I am gaming with a group of friends it is on the 360, but if I am playing alone it is on the PS3.
7 years and counting!

I think having free online play on PS3 can beat out any feature that 360 will have. I mean for me to buy an xbox360, it would have to give me blowjobs. oh wait..

1. The Xbox 360 is indeed the least reliable console this gen. The Wii, oddly enough, is the most reliable and widely sold. I hate my Wii.
2. The Xbox 360 has the most exclusives this gen actually.
3. Indeed, there has been accessory rape this gen. It's ridiculous.
4. I hate having to pay for multiple users on one Xbox as well. Add to that, the online pass requirements even if in the same house.
5. I haven't had any dashboard loading issues, with speed or the like. However, I have seen it as an issue with some others, especially those with slower internet.

Haters be hatin'. I've got two games sitting in my shelve until I get one at the end of the generation: Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon.

lol I love how people like to correct the argument, saying that 360 has more exclusives when they know full well that people are talking about games that people like us (hobbiest gamers) give a fuck about, and not kiddie casual and 2D side scrolling arcade games.

I didn't buy an HD console to play arcade games.

XBOX 3 Fix me ftw!
PS3 has the awesome 1st party exclusives but let's face it fellas, the only people making money from most of these exclusives is Redbox, no what'a mean?

That's not the point I'm making. Where are all the threads with people raving over 2D side scrollers and arcade games? There is one in recent memory that I can remember (the zombie one on 360). There are a few games that stand out, Alan Wake: AM, inFamous: FoB and Journey etc, but in general games like these are few and far between. Do we watch E3, Gamescom, TGS, Comicon etc to see the latest announcements of 2D side scrollers? Of course a hobbiest doesn't restrict himself/herself to any type or genre of game, but it's sure as hell not kept e up till 2am in June to watch Sony's conference. It is the big games that garner the most excitement here, as seen by looking at the games sections of the forum.

Us hobbiest gamers include people such as myself (and many others) that give a fuck about PSN/XBLA/Indie great games too. Feel free to limit your preference to disk based only games. There will be millions of us that choose to not limit ourselves to that. I have more digital games than I do disk based games. And I love them all.
I could NOT agree more. We have about 3000 exclusive titles on the 360 to choose from. How many do we have on our PS3?
