They can shove those screens back up their ass tbh. They should have just kept quiet.
Prepare for meltdowns if these next gen console rumors are true. Phase 1: Denial. Phase 2: Mask a lie under "opinion" vs a fact. Phase 3: Bring up the PS3/360 era when it has nothing to do with the subject. Phase 4: Say that the power gap doesn't matter but constantly defend the weaker specs.

Good screens, enough to make me a little hyped but not enough to give out a lot of info.
I mean it looks like the lighting is improved a lot, good scale from the looks of it, but i think the tree/foliage and character textures show that either:
These are most likely very early in development or is on the consoles
Quite terrible.

I'm confident that the game will look just as good as those images.
GTA IV could have had planes but they probably didn't add them since the setting for the game was in New York. They didn't want any bull crap controversy from the media.

This is the way it should be done. Tired of knowing an entire game before it comes out.
Trophy-licious!

That would have made sense imo in 2001-2002 but not in 2008 when it (GTA IV) released.
Plus R* already went that route with GTA III where they felt it was "too soon" to enable such scenarios as flying planes into buildings when they actually wanted to enable it.
I believe they had their work cut out for themselves with GTA IV across two platforms, one of which they faced many challenges with and with a dev cost of around $100,000,000, I expect they were not lying about their limitations.

I am hoping GTA V has a character I can get behind. The last time I felt that was with Vice City (Tommy Vercetti). Since then Carl Johnson, and Nikko haven't done it for me. Sure they themselves had their own compelling story but it just didn't have that same impact for me as Tommy Vercetti. I sure hope this changes for GTA V.

7 years and counting!

I don't recall them saying how large the map would be when compared to GTA IV's rendition of Liberty City. I just know that the setting would be Los Santos and its surrounding areas (i.e. Southern California).
