15-minute Hitman: Absolution "Streets of Hope" demo

IO Interactive has released The Streets of Hope E3 demo for Hitman: Absolution. The 17-minute demo provides a deeper look into the game, and features voice commentary by game director Tore Blystad and Travis Barbour, who works on the community team at IO Interactive. During the demo, you will see Agent 47 trying to kidnap Lenny “the limp” Dexter, who may know the whereabouts of Victoria, who 47 swore to protect as a dying wish from friend Diana Burnwood. In order to get to “the limp”, the 47 will need to take out Lenny’s gang “The Cougars” first.

no hand holding allowed on harder settings. this game is gunna be great! kinda sad the tie has gone

Just watched it on IGN. This game has me really interested because I'm currently playing Deus Ex and I'm really feeling the stealth games right now

I'm going to be one of those people who go through and try to figure out every way to eliminate a target. It's what I've always done with Hitman games.

I guess I'm the only one who was turned off by this video?

The AI was not impressive to me. The cop on the roof did not defend himself at all, just let him shank him in the stomach... No one questions the tall bald guy strolling away from a giant explosion?... The people in the scrapyard a half a block away didn't hear the explosion? Who is dumb enough to fall for a wrench being thrown under a car? And again, no one questions him as he strolls out of the garage after squishing dude under a car? No one noticed that the barber turned from an old man to a tall bald dude with a bar code on his neck?

Although it looks fun which is most important, there are a lot of silly things going on for a game that is going for a serious tone.

And also, they ripped Splinter Cell hard with that spot and mark feature.

I'm with you on this! Also, the soundtrack is nowhere near as good as it was in previous installments.

I don't think it looks that different from Blood Money, minus the spot and mark feature as well as the ability to predict enemy patrol routes. But stuff like that defeats the purpose of an Easy mode.
