PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale New Character Announcement Tease

Paul Gale ( the guy who first leaked that Sony was developing its own SSB type fighter ) has inside information on the next set of characters to be announced at SDCC this weekend. He also dropped hints about Heihachi and Toro before their unveiling too.

He posted teaser for the new announcements on his site.

The following is the beginning of a small series of hints that reflect certain avenues of interest in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. I’m not going beyond simply labeling the hints as they are. Will what’s shown here, right now, be at the San Diego Comic Con this weekend? Possibly…but rest assured, it will be reflected in the game, as was every other past hint I put up.

Well it was eluded to on the OP link...The dark picture with red car could elude to Riku and his red blade, and the light picture with the red and silver could elude to Sora with his keyblade.

I thought pic 3 might be Bayonetta. The pistol reminds me of the platinum logo and the rifle has a bayonetta.

Yeah might be good thinking. The rifles lever action so it makes me think civil war or ww2 just trying to think what other games it could be.

Yep thats what some guys came to on the site that the source is from... but I can't agree with 3

I think the Valkyria Chronicles characters are the most likely... sure its a different rifle but its just a hint :P

Further insight from GAF, pic 3 has 13 big bullets and 50 small ones (13 colones, 50 states). Users there are pondering AC3 perhaps. The rifle lends itself to that, especially with the bayonet. In any case, pic three somehow relates to America (apparently confirmed by the hint maker).

Jak and Daxter for the MFing win. Cole's level 3 power looks cool, kinda like the FPS mode you get with Colonel Radec

It reminded me of snakes super smash in brawl in a way lol.
Cole looks pretty badass to use and so does J n D.

To me it looks like nothing at all to do with them :/ Maybe the cars but even those are a stretch when the colours are wrong.

Probabaly means different characters? Maybe who ever posted them doesn't know who they are going to announce next lol

The dude who made the hints said that they weren't necessarily the characters going to be revealed at Comicon, just that would be in the game. There are going to be more reveals at GC confirmed.

You should see Colonel Radec's. It's much closer than Cole's to a complete carbon copy of Snake's SSBB Final Smash.

It's not confirmed, but it's almost a no-brainer that he'll be in it. Consider him one of those "big deal" characters they're saving for later announcements, you know?
