Halo 4 Xbox 360 console bundle revealed, costs a legendary $400

Well, if there was any doubt that Halo 4 was coming to the Xbox 360, and NOT the Xbox 3, this should solidify that

Are you in the extremely unique position of both being a big Halo fan and not owning an Xbox 360? Microsoft's hoping that's the case, as the publisher is releasing a special Halo 4-themed version of its Xbox 360 alongside the game this November – altogether, the whole shebang will run you 400 big ones.

Beyond the schnazzy console and the game itself, you'll also get two branded wireless controllers, and a less thrilling generic black headset. And you'll have plenty of space for all those Forge-created maps with the 320GB hard drive built-in.

It looks like Microsoft doesn't want anyone to see its bundle just yet, however, as the listing was taken down from Microsoft's web store after IGN spotted it. We expect to hear more official news on the bundle in the coming weeks (or whenever Microsoft's marketing team decides to acknowledge the leak).

Looks pretty good. Tooo much going on though for my personal taste. I much prefer how the Halo Reach slim looked. $400 is a lot, but people will still get it :P

I like that they keep putting the new Xbox 360 controllers in the bundles with the transforming D-Pad. It's such a better d-pad experience than the standard d-pads. I hope that is the new standard for the Xbox 3.

I think it's hideous, but the controllers look sweet. Hopefully they sell one of those separately like they did with Gears 3 and Halo Reach.

$40 or the upgrade HDD from 250GB to 320GB

I am not feeling all the colors going on, the console design has always been to my liking since they released the 360S however.

Still this SKU looks fantastic next to the supposed Super Dooper SLIM PS3

Price point is a huge mistake imo, people will buy though I believe. The console possibly has 16 months until the next system?

Does everyone think it's $400 for a console? I mean, upgraded HDD, extra controller, and a newly released game. That all barely adds the actual price if you were to buy it all separately, PLUS it's unique.

It is one of the best looking LE consoles I have ever seen, but I won't be getting it, and I'm sure a lot of people would be hesitant to spend their money on it when the next xbox is practically right around the corner.

Still, its a great collectors item and for some reason it really looks great to me

I couldn't justify spending the £270 asking price here in the UK on a console which is 7 years old this December.
