New Zone of the Enders HD Collection trailer from Comic-Con

Over seven minutes of crisp new footage from Zone of the Enders HD Collection has arrived online.

It mixes the game's cel-shaded mech gameplay with anime cutscenes and a thumping J-pop soundtrack.

The compilation includes Zone of the Enders and The 2nd Runner, both produced by Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima.

The new trailer, fresh from the San Diego Comic-Con, showcases the game's home console versions, out this autumn.

A PlayStation Vita release has also been confirmed, although there's currently no Western release date set for it.

You will, however, be able to play at this year's Eurogamer Expo.

I remember watching that a dozen times on my PS2. I'm still ridiculously pumped for this collection. The games were short but phenomenal. Hopefully they sell well enough for Konami to consider making ZOE3

Not one second of the first game was shown. It was all footage of the second game.

That's the exact opening from the 2nd runner. They didn't add anything new or take anything away from the looks of it. Just showed it as HD.

I know. It's just that I didn't see one second of footage from the first game. The games are coming as a collection and I figured we'd at least see some footage from the first.

I actually love ZoE and decided to buy ZoE2 cheap and play it on my PS2 a few months ago, and wow it was an awesome game, just magnificent. I don't know if I'll get this collection now, probably not. But the visuals are much improved and anyone who hasn't played this series before is in for a treat

Indeed. I'd go as far as to say the games were underrated gems worth far more attention than they received.

I'm only going to buy them in support of the ZoE Franchise. I also bought the Second Runner maybe.... 6 months or so ago? Except I bought it because I couldn't find my original copy.

Actually they changed the in-game gameplay on this trailer. they just kept the same cinematics , dialogues and theme. they just changed the video montage of gameplay.
