    Well I was saying that off the top of my head. I remember people putting up signatures with those numbers...now that I think about it, might've been 10 or more shipped by that time.

    It was around 8-8.5 million because I remember when Wii passed it after a matter of months and by that time it was around 11-12 million IIRC.

    Its really hard to tell, it was somewhere between 7 and 9 , because we cant tell exactly at launch.
    But the lead was 8.2 million come Dec 31st 2006.

    Atelier Rorona
    Atelier Totori
    Atelier Meruru
    Demon's Souls
    Dark Souls
    Disgaea 3

    White Knight Chronicles
    White Knight Chronicles II
    Yakuza 3
    Yakuza 4
    Yakuza 5 (technically Yakuza is a beat em up/Adventure/RPG)

    If importing is an option then there's much more than that. But yeah PS3 had a slow start to the JRPG scene but it now has more JRPGs than 360 and Wii combined, but if you do have a Wii you should check out Xenoblade Chronicles too.
    I know almost all of those you named and a couple of those aren't even in the US yet. I could never get into the neptunia games, just not my style. I find the voices on those games enjoying as hell. Haven't really gotten into the atelier games. But everything else except xillia I've about played. And you forgot cross edge and yakuza games are some of the finest games I've ever played.

    I also just noticed I missed off Valkyria Chronicles, but you've probably also played that.

    Marketing and less variety.
    While marketing, MS focuses on far less games than Sony, which means that their game ads can be more costly and better publicized on more mediums.

    Because the main market for the Xbox exclusive games are for the US market.
    Games such as; Halo & Gears of War. Since the Xbox has a bigger base in the US than any other country, Sony's exclusives fail to sell more than it's rival.

    Euro = Sports

    US = FPS

    Japan = RPG

    They really don't sell that much more...yes the US market is bigger for 360 and thus western games will sell more here. But overall, there are just a few that sell just a couple more million. Otherwise, the PS3 sells more in total numbers as it also boasts a lot more exclusives.
