Battlefield 4 Confirmed, Beta Access Through Medal of Honor: Warfighter Pre-Order...

One thing that bothers me though, will we ever get a Bad Company 3?. I was under the assumption that after Warfighter, we would be getting BC 3 the year after?.

There was news that it was being developed a little while back but it was more of a rumor and hasn't been confirmed I'd like to see BFBC3. BFBC2 was my first BF experience and I really liked that series.

I don't think EA or DICE would let Battlefield fall into the Call of Duty release cycle. While it's obviously experienced a great deal of success, one of Battlefield's biggest selling points is that it's supposedly more realistic, more in depth, and of higher quality than the COD games. If they were to start adopting trends of Activision and the COD developers, the appeal of BF could very well decline.

Besides, as it's been mentioned, the map packs featured in Battlefield 3 are spanning over a long period of time, giving the game an active life-cycle that is much longer than any Call of Duty game. I italicize "active" because clearly a lot of old COD games are still played by millions.

This is absolutely good news. So long as DICE doesn't try to get this game out too quickly, I think it'll be fantastic. Battlefield 3 is certainly one of the best FPS titles to date, so BF4 has a lot of promise. For me, Battlefield and Call of Duty have passed the point of competition and have entered their own realms of the FPS genre. It's not about how each game is the same, but how they're different, and each offer unique, enthralling experiences that I could invest hours into. So while I'm still most certainly getting Black Ops II and future COD titles, I'm equally as interested in getting DICE's next big title.

And as for those who say you were going to buy BF3 but aren't anymore, I think that's silly. BF4 is still some time off, more than a year, I'd say. Battlefield 3 is an excellent shooter experience and I think it's well worth that one year or more.

Really? Man, you have no idea what you are missing by not playing BC1. For the most part, the maps in BC2 are complete garbage compared to BC1. Some of the best maps in BC2 are BC1 remakes.

Yeah, I guess I sort of agree. Now that BF3 has moved past the paid beta stage, it is actually worth buying.

However, in my book, BC1 will still written down as the king, which not even BC2 and BF3 have surpassed (though BF3 is now pretty close).

I think I will skip MoH warfighter just because of this. I fell for EA/DICE bribes with MoH 2010 and the multiplayer sucked imo. To me this seems like another attempt to say "hey, MoH warfighter sucks but if you buy it you will get beta access to BF4". this is what they basically did with MoH 2010. not only that but I guess moH warfighter is going to be 10 vs 10 which they said the maps will be smaller. meh, I think I will pass. I fell for there crap twice I wont do it for a 3rd time.

Yeah it's just my opinion I got it as a gift and it was the first time I played a Battlefield game and I liked it.

Couldn't agree more. And yeah even if putting that BF4 Beta advertisement by mistake doesn't mean that BF4 is coming soon, and we all knew they had plans on releasing BF4 so like I said before BF4 won't be out until End Game DLC is out, that's for sure. So still more than 1 year of BF3.

I hated Battlefield 3(on the PS3), I could never get any fun out of it so I ended up selling it. I still play BF:BC 2 quite a lot and it's still as fun as it was when I first got it, even though the community is slowly dying.

Couldn't agree more! I think BF3 would do better than CoD just in my personal opinions!

I for one can't wait for the next MoH, the 2010 version was mint. It was non stop action, more so then CoD but it also had objectives and good ones. Although sometimes I really hated all the snipers on my team as you kept spawning on them wayyy at the back lines when you could of been spawning on someone at the front lines

Oh my gosh I feel ya on all of this! It was a great game, I just can't imagine what the new one will be like, I'm just excited for it! And I hated the snipers too, hopefully they will change the spawn process to where there is spawn points on the front line. But who knows!?

So it's been confirmed today that pre ordering MoH Warfighter limited edition, grants you access to Battlefield 4 Beta (Beta date AUTUMN 2013). So as I thought BF4 will probably be coming out Late 2013, maybe Early 2014.

. BF3 was the only shooter that ever got me interested in multiplayer. I was obsessed for like 3 months so I'm looking forward to seeing what they got in store for BF4

The Beta is end of 2013 so I hope it's on the next PS/Xbox consoles. Basically on par with the PC version at max settings.

That Autumn 2013 Beta date I got it from IGN but it doesn't say anything about such date on the official website

I hope BF4 will be on ps4 but I will buy it either way. Do you think its possible it will be on both ps3 and ps4? Similar to how Call of Duty 3 was for ps2/ps3? Cod3 even had a jump in player count for multiplayer, 24 for the ps3 and 16 for ps2. We could see a similar situation with ps3 handling 24 players and ps4 handling 32 or more players.
